Man I just can't seem to catch a break with this game. I am in 2014 season and I started out in AAA. I mat all my goals and was on fire. I get the call up and start producing in spot starts right away. I ask the manager for the start and I get it. Now naturally I slump. At one point I was 0-12, then I was like 2-20. What suck is I have 4 SO's in this period, but I am hitting the ball hard right where the other team is at. This happened to me the last time I was made the starter. Hopefully I can break out of it soon because I have to increase my ARM, ACC big time for my next goals. Man I love and hate this game both at the same time.

Well the White Sox brought up a 20 year old with huge ratings so I got benched in my 5th season (2nd MLB). This was after a full but mediocre rookie year. I figured I didn't have a future there so I asked for a trade. I promptly get traded to the Orioles where now instead of one young guy, there are now 2 guys ahead of me at second base. Can't believe I got traded to sit the bench.

That sucks - the Orioles are terrible in my RTTS. They had almost 120 losses in 2013.


For you other RTTS middle infielders, does your catcher ever throw out would be stealers??

In a season, my catcher throws out guys maybe 2 or 3 times. I hate covering the bag on an attempted steal because we never get the out.

Hah! Thought it was just that my catcher sucks, or I'm supposed to apply the tag differently or something. I have seen an out maybe 1 time out of dozens. Just like you said it's frustrating cause I know it's a complete waste of time.

so, here i read all your post about how your RTTS is going.. So, I signed up and thought I would throw mine up there and see what you thought. im playn on veteran just so u all know and i the sliders are at default still..

I was drafted by the indians and had a decent spring optioned to the AA indians affilate as a bench player
im 17 games in w/52 ab
21 hits / 404 avg
no homeruns only a handfull went even close to the fence
7 RBIS 1 triple and 6 doubles
10sb but have been caught 6 times
7 runs and 5 strikeouts
no errors ...just got to my 1st eval point and made me a everyday starter in ....AA ..29 total bases btw..

im a shortstop and im 3/4 in the org and 8/33 in the leauge..i try and make a postion switch and keep gettn denied..My aa team sucks but the indians are something like 14 and 3 ...so, i hope to make it by the end of the ear to get the big bonus..Im riding a 8 game hittn streak btw...

I am kicking butt right now in my RTTS. I was drafted by the A's but a month into my first season in AA I was traded to the Mariners club. Then by the end of the year I was called up to AAA and did well. I thought I was gonna be sent back down to AA because I was only called up to fill a spot due to an injured player. Well I began 2010 in AAA and played great. I hit over .300 in both AA and AAA and at the end of the 2010 season I was offered a one year MLB deal with the Mariners to start at 1B. After a month I am hitting over .300 with 10 hrs and 30 RBIs. For those interested I was playing on All-Star but recently jumped to HoF with default hitting sliders.

I have face the fact that I just suck at this game and my twitch skills are fading as I get older. I can't catch a break with this game. I made it to starter status again with the Dodgers and I had a small injury and missed 3 games. Low and behold I am given utiliy status again. Well i make it back to starter status and I sprain my ankle and miss 5 games. Again I am given utility status when I come back. I have met all my goals and my production is not bad, about.265 2 HR 11 RBI's in a few weeks of major league status. I am even ranked #1 in the organiztion chart for my position. Well I was pissed at the continual benching so I requested a trade and I got traded to Boston. Well it is time to ride pine again. At least I got shipped to a first place team. The only problem is I am getting spot starts I am out of training points and my attributes are fixing to spiral downward. What suck even more is I am hitting the ball nice and hard but just right at everybody. Even though my palyer is young 24 I think, the HOF looks like it is going down the drain.

One thing I noticed in my RTTS career. When im on one of the bases, and obviously the CPU is batting......not one has got a HR while I've been on a base.

Has this scenario happened to anybody??

depends if youve got it set to all fielding or just your own
if your just playing your own fielding chances at say 2B you dont get involved at all if someone homers over LF

ive played LF and im constantly running into the green monster as the ball sails out of the park

Sorry, I mean while my team is batting...im standing on a base after a hit and batting is a CPU Player. I've set my base running controls to manual, just wondered if I had to control myself running to home or if there is a cut scene.

Anyone know how to force a trade?

So far I've read to try the "trade me" option in INTERACTIONS. If it doesnt work, reload RTTS and try again in a few days.

Or .. just don't do the goals. The manager would probably punish me with benching and stuff, but how long does it take for him to give up and trade me?

Man this game is awesome. I am loving those pics and RTTS is so addictive. I just wanna make my player better and better each month. If anyone is having trouble with RTTS may I suggest some slider tweaking? Say for instance if you are a hitter then adjust the human hitting sliders in your favor and if you're a pitcher adjust the CPU hitting sliders and human pitching sliders in your favor as well.

can you do batting pratice to up your abbitutes with your RTTS guy? ive been playn on my psp and just bought it for my ps3 ..i know you cant on psp how bout ps3?
