Marino's entrance has to be a save situation. I just did it right now with Enter Sandman blasting and it was so real.

EDIT:I just won a game with the yankees and Vasgerian said "Yankees Win, Theeeeeeeeee Yankees Win." Just like John Sterling.

Ahh, so if Matt V. happens to say what I noted above and only later does Hud start with, "And this presentation's coherent commentator has something to say!" will I believe it's tied into the programming
I don't remember the exact words he used, but in one of my at bats playing the demo Huddler said something like "He's showing real patience at the plate tonight!" It might've been after I walked. The very next batter grounded out on the first pitch, and Huddler then says "So much for that idea!" Again, those weren't the exact words, but you get the point. He was responding to a comment he said in the previous at bat. Pretty unexpected and cool.

Yeah, they'll remember things about past pitches, though I don't know if it's tied into past commentary.

For instance, the umpire made two bad calls in a row, one for a ball and one for a strike. On the latter, Hudler (or Campbell maybe) said, "And that could have been a makeup call for the previous pitch." Pretty cool that they have that stuff, but I wish it were like 2K where there is a lot of filler and responding to each other.

I think the worst part, especially with the color guys, is that they don't really sound like they're announcing, but more so they are making statements. Tone, voice inflection, etc. They sound like they're reading a script, if that makes sense.

Playing a game in Dodger Stadium. Campbell says "as my former colleague would say, dueces are wild. Two on, two out, and a 2-2 count." A reference to Vin Scully. I can't remember what year it was but before Matty V. Did the announcing, but it was Vin Scully and Dave Campbell back in the old MLB days on PS1 I think.

Edit: I put the controller to write a post. They show a shot of Manny sitting down in the outfield. Then he just lays out on his back. Everytime Manny has to make a close play out in left, Matty makes a comment about his fielding.

Just happened in my demo game. 1-1 count on Ibanez and I stroke one to deep left...I have HR celebration turned off so I don't know if its going to be a HR or not....anyway I'm thinking it has a chance to go but CarL Crawford has a bead on it...He jumps and plows into the wall. I'm humping around the bases with Ibanez as Crawford gets up and staggers around like he's kinda hurt. Anyway, Ibanez rounds 3rd and I get a Inside the park HR.

The best thing about it in the replay, my 3rd base coach has the arm moving like crazy, telling me to make my turn and get home.

Unreal man.....this is the damn demo for Christ sakes. I was excited, but after watching this, I flat out cannot wait until tomorrow.

Yah, it's completely off. I'm pretty bummed about this as well. Before last year's game, I thought they would have for sure got it right since the Sox won the World Series and all and Papelbon's stare down is a pretty well known thing. After messing it up in last year's game I thought it would definitely be fixed for this year's, but sadly it's not. Also, Beckett's is still off as well. Maybe they can fix it in a patch or something along the way. Otherwise, I'll just have to peruse the other pitchers' motions to find a good edit.

Can't wait until tomorrow morning! I'd go out tonight at midnight to GS but there's over a foot of snow out there and I'm way too tired to start shoveling now...
