I don't have the money right now, but I'm definitely gonna try to get a PS3 and this game in April, when the much anticipated price of the ps3 will drop 100 dollars.

It's supposed to drop in March.

I've gotta say this is the most love I've felt in a post on OS in well... ever!! Everyone has made me feel great about my purchase and Tuesday cannot come here soon enough... Unfortunately I am working my night job right now and dl'ing the show demo @ my house... so at least when I get home i will have something to look forward too

well, the show is what made me switch, but now that I have my system there are some excellent games. Killzone 2 is a definite buy, Uncharted Drake's Fortune is phenomenal, Resistance 1 & 2 are excellent, Socom Confrontation is good despite the reviews {at first the game was very glitchy but now it's all fixed and it's an excellent game} so those are just some ps3 exclusives that are good.

Today I found a ps2 backwards compatible ps3 for 300 on craigslist... between reading "the show" forums for two years and playing the other game on 360 I finally decided now that I have a little extra dough I'm gonna make the plunge. I'm sure that the ps3 has more to offer than just "The Show" but no other game could have made me switch... well I just wanna say howdy and that I will finally be able to be a real part of the community and not just a lurker

Looks like I'll be joining you on Tuesday as well, getting my tax refund as well on monday so I can use that to get the ps3 and the show, especially after hearing how much stuff 2k9 got rid of. I loved 2k8 last year but The Show has me sold this year! I know I was drooling over the game last year as well but was not enough..

So it looks like I'll be joining you guys as well. One of those that has all 3 consoles (Xbox 360, Wii (got it for xmas and kinda sucks) and PS3)

I've been waiting for the 2k series to improve but year in and year out the game seems to suck, compared to MVP Baseball. I only had a 360 so there wasn't much else to do for a baseball fix. Fortunately my girlfriend bought me a PS3 after years of saying how much I wish I had the system to play the show. So we both got our wishes as she enjoys watching her blu rays while I have my show fix.

The first time I started the game and played I was so giddy like a little school girl at a Jonas Bro. concert. (Not that I know what's that like).

Maybe for those who don't have the money to burn can wait for the rumored PS3 price drop.

I'm a happy 5 or 6 week owner of a ps3 and Czar only has 2 games..... mlb 08 and 09... I have to say the machine itself is SWeeeet !!!! 360 is moving to the kids room

I did the same last year. Since I missed the entire ps2 library I picked up the 80gig mgs4 bundle (bc)just for the show 08. Still have not played mgs4 or even slit the plastic on it and I know the game is excellent. But the show is > than all and very consuming.
