I don't know what IGN is smoking but everything is better this year, graphics are definitely a noticeable upgrade, and most importantly the gameplay is almost flawless. playing with Nats I'm 0-2 to start the season, nothing has felt cheap, everything feels just right.
hope you dont go 0-162,lol,just messing good luck man!

LMAO at the rate I'm going I might, I never had a chance in the first game, Lannan gave up 5 earned runs and I never could get any offense going. In the second game I was pitching a great game with Olsen but I'll be damned if I couldn't hit anything Josh Johnson threw at me. and Olsen finally made a mistake in the 6th and gave up a three run jack to Cantu I have averaged only 4 runs in 2 games and struggling to hit the ball. I've hit one homerun with Adam Dunn that was a moonshot to dead center 427 feet!!! I was so happy lol this game is great, it's so hard to hit and pitch on Legend. Tonight I am gonna beat those Gotdamn Phish!!

        IGN's review is a joke.

IGN: >>Once again, there isn't a strength indicator for throws, which means that it's even harder to know why a ball goes wild during a game – you simply know that it does and you have to react. Because there have been a lot more errors and misses included in this year's game, the success of your throw to another player feels even more haphazard than ever before.<<

The reason it goes wild is they are holding the button down. Forcing fast throws. In about 10 games I have played I only made 2 errors. Both throwing from the SS. And how do you give the graphics a 7? What a terrible review.

Couldn't agree more Hand, what a lackluster review, hey moron if you make too many throwing errors and your too stupid to realize that your holding the button down too long, which causes a risk- reward type situation then there's this new thing called SLIDERS. Graphics are an 8.8 or 9 at least. That review has no credibility.

Anyone think the CPU outfielders are a little too responsive?

They seem to jog and be able to easily track down balls on the warning track.

Speed and reaction time need to be toned down for them.

I've played the PSP version every year. Can't begin to tell you how GREAT this year's edition is. Gameplay is tuned to perfection.

I finally had to give up my "man card" and drop down to Veteran. Even at that level I am only 1-3. My hitting is ok at that level, but I still need to reduce my strikeouts and get better in clutch situations.

The most amazing part to me is that I am using guess pitch (helps reduce strikeouts) but not seeing the hit fest that plauged all the previous editions.

I'm traveling this week and getting back to the game is all I think about during the day.

I'm guessing that the button we need to push is only available to PS2 and 3 owners. If I remember right, the L3 button means pushing the left stick in, which of course isn't an option for the PSP. Also, I don't think we can control computer rosters for season mode (it's greyed out, but I'm trying different settings).

Anyway, I'm so digging this game! Active scoreboards, great graphics, and the ability to play every game on the schedule is awesome. I don't think I'll attempt every game, but having that option is really cool. Sure is nice to see 24+ pages of PSP impressions!
                                I can't feel my legs!
