two majors improvements/things nice to see in MLB 09 PSP version

1. There are now Throwing Errors
2. In MLB 08 I had major issues(mostly timing) of getting a base runner out when he ran from 1st to 2nd...and I'm playing a game right now in the 4th inning, I have got 2 runners who tried to steal to 2nd out, this game is sweet!!!

I always regarded MLB 08 The Show PSP Versio the best portable baseball game ever, well SCEA did this one even better, MLB 09 is so so good!

Can somebody explain to me how to get My MLB Music to work? It keeps telling me I dont have any music on my memory stick.

Format issue, maybe?

i am still lost on two things
roster update still dead?
and other then franchise, what was taken out? (that is on the ps2) my memory is very foggy
and i cant find the in game saves

You have to play a game to save it.

So, to everyone that had 08, you feel like there's enough change/improvement in this game to warrant a purchase?

I still play the heck out of 08 and just bought 09 for PS2...man, if there were PS2-PSP connectivity, I wouldn't even question it.

Don't. I'm back playing '08. '09 for PS3 is great though.

How can you possibly go back to playing 08? Batting in that game was so ridiculous it wasn't funny. I'd get 20 hits every game with the worst lineup in baseball on the hardest level. Now, I don't have this years game yet, but from what everyone is saying, 2009 fixes the biggest flaw in The Show by adding legend difficulty mode. With realistic batting stats, I don't know how you could then go back to 2008.

i like the game alot

but I have one complaint,it says go to "the sounds of the show" to edit voice chants,batter walkup music,ext,but when i go thier i can only find the music stuff,the voice chants are no where to be found,the back of the box and the manuel say its in the game,but ive looked,and looked and looked more......but no where have i found it yet!

has anyone found it yet?this would suck if they advertised it ,and its not in the freakin game,come onSCEA dont pull a 2ksports on us!!!!!!plz post if you know if its in the game

I can't stop playing MLB 09 on my PSP, such a great game, very challenging on Legend mode too.
GREAT GREAT JOB SCEA!!! not only do they put out the best baseball game on PS3 but they really do care about the PSP owners too! and it shows, thank you again!

I liked 08 on PSP, and this version appears to be even better. My biggest gripes last year were the kind of lame looking overlays / player pictures, and it was kind of hard to hit at times. If they fixed the small things like that, I'm in again this year!
