7-9 with the Pirates...dead last in the NL Central. I guess it's a very realistic chise. Adam LaRoche has been KILLING the ball for me, though. I've got 7 HRs, 17 RBI, and a .440 avg. with him right now.

Re: Franchise Progress Thread
In my season, which I play parallelly to the real one, I'm 9-6 like the real club. Because all my starting pitchers (and the ones of the CPU as well, look at my SP Stamina thread) are to tired after 80 pitches and because the CPU just seems to get stronger the longer the game goes (CPU comeback off, default settings) my starters lack decisions and my W-leader is Javier Lopez with 3-0 Wins...:P. If I could get my pitchers to be able to throw more pitches, it could not get any more realistic...Comment

Re: Franchise Progress Thread
To add to this, Manny just hit a 2 run home run in the top of the 1st in game 2 vs Astros. Makes it 4-7 4 HRs 7 RBIs for Manny in the first two games at Minute Maid.So I finally started my franchise with Knight's full minor rosters. I'm 12-1 with the Dodgers and just had a hell of a game @ Astros. Manny went 3-6 3 HRs 5 RBI's. His last HR was a 2 run dagger putting me up 7-5 in the top of the 11th. Here are my leaders through 13.
Andre Ethier - .540 4 HRs 11 Runs 14 RBIs
Matt Kemp - .412 0 HRs 16 Runs 9 RBI's 10 SBs
Manny Ramirez - .333 6 HRs 13 Runs 17 RBIs
Chad Billingsley - 3-0 1.33 ERA 17 Ks
Hiroki Kuroda - 3-0 2.25 ERA 16 Ks
Jonathan Broxton - 1-0 0.90 ERA 7 Ks 5 Saves

Re: Franchise Progress Thread
That game is crazy. Stros hit 4 HRs to make it 6-4 Houston, later in the game they scored two more to make it 8-4. I left off in the bottom of the 7th with Dodgers coming back to make it 8-6. Had to save it to leave for work.
It's just the park though, Manny has been average at best before this series at Houston.XBL: DTX3

Re: Franchise Progress Thread
I'm using ToBrien's Veteran sliders. But if this continues I'm going to have to try some new ones. But again, its just the park imo. The other games were pretty close, my only lose came to the Giants, a 1-0 game. Casey Blake is horrible in my game, but has recently picked up his average.XBL: DTX3

This thread is my baby, and I've started it in the NBA 2K and MLB 2K forums. Since I don't own a PS3 I ban PS3 owners to use this title as it is a trademark and officially exclusively licensed product of JBH3.

Enjoy my idea...my lawyers will be in touch.

Currently 3-9 in my Indians franchise. Just finished getting swept by the Yankees in four games at the New Yankee Stadium.

Re: Franchise Progress Thread
I also have a Indians franchise w/ Knights new rosters...Allstar - Psycho's PERFECT sliders...game plays GREAT. ULTRA REALISTIC. I am hitting just fine...although my hitting with RISP needs to improve. I just got swept by the Rangers and lost my first game at home to go 0-4. Pitching is brutal. The Rangers lineup is SO hard to pitch to. My best outing was with C. Lee giving up 2 in 7 innings. I have the worst team era at 8.70 or sumthing. My pitching really has to improve! I cant wait to get out of class at 9pm rush home and play till 3am.Comment

Re: Franchise Progress Thread
10-5 with my Yankees franchise . I play on veteran mode ... I'm currently playing against the A's at home ... 3rd game of the Series coming up tied at 1-1. Milky Cabreara is injured with a strain calf . I used to play on All Star but I was getting killed all the time . Now it seems so much more fun . I have modified the sliders too .Seems more real and still very challenging .Johnny Damon hitting like .430 ...

13-8 with the Angels. Just came off a 2 game sweep of the O's. Next up the Yankees in their new stadium for a 4 game series.
John Lackey just pitched a 7 hit complete game shutout vs. Baltimore. Vlad has been on fire hitting 9 homeruns in the month of April. Torrii Hunter and Chone Figgins are in the middle of tough hitting slumps.
This game rules.

Re: Franchise Progress Thread
Sweet setup bk, is it a ton of work to keep it up and current or is it pretty quick and easy to do the updates that you do? Ive always been curious about that Dynasty Manager website but always figured it would take more time then it was worth to keep up and running. Last question, doing that, is it mainly for your own personal enjoyment or is something where other people have access to it and give feedback and whatnot?13-8 with the Angels. Re: Franchise Progress Thread
I already prettty much knew what I was doing so it took me about half hour or so to set up the page the way I wanted it. I update it after every 3 or 4 games, or basically when I feel like it, and it takes me between 15 and 25 minutes to update the page with a story and the standings and all that crap. Novices it will take a little longer until they get the features of DM down.Sweet setup bk, is it a ton of work to keep it up and current or is it pretty quick and easy to do the updates that you do? Mostly it's for my own enjoyment, but I get a lot of feedback on it, and imo it's just another way to immerse yourself in to your season. If you are going to do it I recommend starting slow. A lot of guys get burned out because they are trying to update it after every game. I think that's just too hard to do and it becomes tedious.Comment

That's really neat. I'm so darned ready to get started again on Monday...What level you playing on and settings.
By the way my buddy and I NEVER went to Lake Elsinore, went to ONE Padres game last year and he's going to ZERO this year with the prices. So, we've talked of Elsinore again and I haven't forgotten about you.Comment
