Dell still has 20% off gaming and free shipping so you're going to be set up for $320. I posted the discount code in a previous thread, if you need it just do a search.

Re: Considering Buying PS3... Burning Questions

The question was asked about players who loved MVP 05 whether or not they thought it was like an old girlfriend you will always love and want back. Well let me tell you this.

        I played 3 years of MVP 05 on my ps2. I played 10 full 162 game seasons.

I sent my memory card each year to guys who would load the years starting rosters on it and play all year with those.

I was an MVP 05 junkie.

I bought my ps3 just to get the show 07 and haven't looked back. I had 08 and hae 09.

        It blows MVP 05 away.

When I was leading my season in walks (something you NEVER got in MVP 05) after the first week I was dumbfounded. How could I get walked?? I never though it was possible in baseball videogames...

Strikeouts in the show are earned. it's no longer pitch up and in everytime on 2 strikes to get an easy K.

The only one small gripe I have is games aren't the quick 30 minutes. They take longer. 45min-an hour. I now only play 1 full season because it takes so long. That is VERY minor and you can save in game anyway so it's all good.

So there you have it from an MVP 05 fan boy.

Enjoy your purchase and your new game!
        MLB the SHOW FTW!!

          It's:

          Z0WPL1J0CC3W47

          Valid until 2/26.

And the total cost is more like $340 once you include taxes.
