You hate hockey, I see, and I have an agenda, lol. Irrelevant, as a game NHL 09 is abotu as realistic and good as it gets. Board play? Thats the way it is in real life, if some do not like it, well, it is a part of the game, that's what makes it so great.

Comparing it to the show is ridiculous because you do not like hockey? Hockey video games are awesome, even if you do not like watching the sport. I am not the one with the agenda it seems.

If your opinion on these topics mattered more than everyone else, you'd have a point. Since this stuff is purely subjective and your opinion does not equal fact, you don't really can't act like it's some sort of travesty.

A review is one mans opinion. That's it. The same as your ramblings are your opinion. Nothing more nothing less. Certainly not something to lose sleep over.

Have you ever thought they review the sport based on its counterparts(other baseball games), how it simulates its sport, and don't say, "ahhh well, hitting a homerun in this game isn't as realistic as scoring a goal in NHL, so we'll have to deduct a half a point."?

You seem to have an issue that this game got a rating that on par with your beloved hockey game.

Can you read, he said it is the best SPORTS game of this gen, not BASEBALL game, that's why it is relevant, as NHL 09 is amazing, has no lag online like the show and ultrra realitic gameplay. That's was a bogus statement from an obviously biased baseball fan reviewer.

Add to that the incredible control over your player and their stick in NHL 09, gameplay is simply unmatched in its intuitiveness. This matched with unbeliveable AI, well, The Show is NOT the best sports game, the best baseball game yes, sports game? Well, that;s a tall order with the online issues and bugs in the show.
