Looking at the ones that have crashed, it may be due to roster downloading?

Re: RTTS Crash and Burn
I really hope this gets addressed and not buried cause it is nerve racking putting the time in and then rolling the dice when Sept rolls around. I like how you have to earn your way to the majors unlike NHL 09 where after a few games you were sent up. But if we are going to take the time to earn our way, we sure don't need a unstable platform.Follow me on http://twitter.com/Alligator_BloodComment

Re: RTTS Crash and Burn
Could be. Was March 3 rosters new or default? I debated restarting my career with newer Rosters cause I got tired of seeing Manny in Free agency for a whole year, but glad I decided against it. I learned the hard way to wait out Rosters when I lost a season in Madden due to faulty rosters.

Re: RTTS Crash and Burn
I seem to remember having a similar problem with a 2k game a few years back where my season team just wouldnt work past a certain date. That issue, and 2ks ignoring it, caused me to never buy another of their games. So when I wanted a baseball game last year I bought a ps3 with the show. I hope that I dont have to swear off buying a game from Sony every again now. Please dont ignore this issue.Comment

Re: RTTS Crash and Burn
It's not likely going to matter how many file saves you have. There is a bug and until it is detected, the crash will likely continue.

Re: RTTS Crash and Burn
Okay guys, I made into my third season with no problems using the default rosters. There must've been an issue with with SCEA's March 3rd rosters, or the editing I did to those rosters that caused the crash and reset of the PS3. As of now, I would recommend not using any type of roster updates when playing RTTS until they find out what is causing the bug. I will keep everyone updated on my progress as I continue. In my second season, I was called up to the Reds at the end of the AAA season and I'm currently in spring training in my third year.
And what I meant about keeping more save files:
I keep the last save file of each year (november 1st 2009 for instance) and after I signed my new contract and spring training is about to begin I will save a new file. After that I will sim through the season (takes 5 mins) to see if there is a problem. If not, I will play through the year and do the same thing again. If I will get the problem, I will try to load the old save file and sim through the offseason again and see if the problem will also occur. I doubt it... but I am not sure yet.Comment
