Can't quit replay mode glitch?

Sorry if this has been posted, I scanned 2 pages but didn't see and and maybe some people have mentioned this in the sharing replays/pics thread... but I'm in the middle of the great game, 6th inning, between Kansas City and the Red Sox, and Lowell makes a good throw to first to get crisp running.

Well, I went to record the replay and the game sort of glitched a big, flashed a menu really fast, and now I can't quit replay mode. Hitting start does nothing and if I hit L3 it just "flickers" the "record" button and ... well I'm stuck in it. The PS3 button in the controller does nothing too... so I think I'm just stuck in this and I'll have to boot out of the game. Of course, or I could watch the replay over and over again if I really wanted to

Anyway, hopefully posting this just in case anybody else has the problem and they're looking to report the same.

Yep, i have had the same thing happen to me 4-5 times. The only way out is to get out of the game completely, at least that is what I had to do.

Something like that happened to me once, I just mashed a bunch of buttons and got out of it some how.

That happened to me twice and robbed me of a total of 2 home runs and 5 RBI's not to mention my screenshots and replay. I was ticked off to say the least. I actually had to unplug my PS3. I really really like this game but some of these bugs are b.s.

Same here. I've had this happen once and it got stuck when I wanted to stop recording. I got out of it somehow after it said it was saved so maybe it has something to do with saving the replay to HDD.

I get this glitch when trying to record from the replay vault during a game... However, I can record the play that just happened without any trouble.

What happens is I go to the replay vault, press record and it says it's done recording. At this point I can exit fine, but if I press record again I get stuck.

It's only when I try to record a previous play, one from the replay vault, does this happen.

I haven't tried recording plays after the game is over, to see if the glitch is within the replay vault itself.

It's happened to me as well. I noticed when it happened I wasn't "locked on" to a player or the baseball. Don't know if that has anything to do with it or not.

This has happened to me a bunch of times in 16 and now in 17. I used to wait it out and then sometimes it would let me play again. I also tried button mashing and that seemed to get me out of it too sometimes. Other times like tonight it won't let me exit under any circumstances. Very frustrating glitch when ur trying to finish a season. It also makes me not want to ever use replay which totally sucks.
