Game crashing after loading franchise.

What game mode did the bug happen in?
Franchise.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
I just updated to 1.06 and wanted to play my franchise but after i load, the game crashes and goes to Xross Media Bar.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Every time I try to load my franchise

I just updated to 1.06 also, and when I go to the Schedule in RTTS, the game crashes. I am in my 3rd year, 1st year in the majors, only about 6th game of the regular season.

I spent the whole time I had the game getting to where I am, finally in the Majors, and I now have a $60 Frisbee.

No post game replays. This was with a brand new franchise started yesterday after patch and 4/27 rosters were downloaded. Replay vault only showed the last play of the game without any fielders on the field and the batter looked like PS1 graphics.

Wrong pitcher credited with the loss. Up 3-2 in the 8th, Bobby Seay comes in and gets an out and then gives up a single. Ryan Perry comes in and gives up 2 run homer. Seay got the loss.

Tampa Bay Rays first series against the Cleveland Indians in May 14th, 15th, 16th,and 17th at home. Instead of playing in Tropicana Field during the 4 game series where it should be, it takes place in a minor league stadium.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Unsure. But I'm assuming yes.


Maybe there is some sort of convention at Tropicana Field and the Rays had to move the series to their minor league affiliate's stadium?? Lol...

I edited my "pitching view reset" glitch post (top of 13) to clarify that it only happens with RttS SPs, doesn't happen with closers.

Trying to figure out why the post game highlights aren't showing.....

I deleted the game utility folder like Dr Ursus said to do.

So the game and patch had to be reloaded. It did not work.

Here's what I noticed.....

At some point during the game, around the 7th inning, the replay vault stops recording. Its says NONE for replays in the 7th, 8th and 9th inning.

At that point, you will not see any post game highlights. If you go into the replay vault in the 4th inning for example, you can review the highlites. Once it stops recording highlited in the 7th inning, the only highlite you will see at the end of the game is the last play with no fielders and sometimes no batter on the field.

Here's the other thing, If I play 3 innings or so and then fast forward to the 9th and play the 9th inning, I do get Post game High Lites.

So its almost as if the replay vault is "running out of space".

I also posted this in the patch impressions, but I thought I would post it here as well if this is where it needed to go. It may help to isolate the problem.

For what it's worth my RTTS has not crashed (yet?). I have an old save file I've been playin since release. I do not auto save. My franchise is brand new post patch though and works fine so I can't comment on that. I never started one as I was playin RTTS.

I think its been on old save files from before the patch. From what I've read on here, I think its an issue with the schedule fixes, where the Dodgers and Padres have a game on April 9th after the patch that wasn't there before. It causes problems for franchises past that point, because suddenly there is an extra game that wasn't there before.

I looked at the schedule for the Dodgers and Padres on my franchise, and on April 9th the Dodgers schedule showed them beating the Padres 1-0, but the Padres schedule showed them beating the Dodgers 6-1. Someone yesterday mentioned that one day had 1 team scheduled to play 2 different teams on the same day. My franchise kept crashing on April 29th, but I couldn't see if there was a schedule issue there because anytime I went to that date, it crashed.

Hmm..now i understand what everyone was talking about. Your explanation makes sense somehow. Im already past April 9th in my franchise so will I experience difficulties? I haven't so far but just wondering for those who have gotten far in their franchises.

I was on April 12th when the patch came out, and I simmed ahead, and only got to April 29th before mine crashed. Before playing too many more games, you might want to sim ahead and see if it crashes yours.

That makes sense. Ill sim the rest of my season and see what happens.
