What game mode did the bug happen in?

RTTS

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

The game crashes whenever I try to advance the calendar past the day after the first starred day (for re-signing players who don't have contracts for the next year). This happened even though I downloaded the most recent patch!!!

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Anytime I go to that date, it crashes.

This is a terrible glitch/bug. I haven't been able to do my franchise for a week and a half because of this. But my RTTS still works. And also when it happens to me it's when i try to advance to the next game in my Atheltics Diamondbacks series.

Trying to set a song for walkup/homers that I recently added. The playback locks up if I stop or try to play at any point at some points. Playback is frozen at the point stopped/attempted. Also, if the point desired is in the "lock up" area, it won't play in-game and after the game (tested with a random joe RttS) it freezes at the loading screen (in my case, it was the Player's Last Game screen)

I managed to get around it by re-copying the song to the HDD (copied via thumbdrive because PS3s don't like Mac-formatted iPods, which makes no sense anyway).

I simulate a franchise and report on it. I take pictures of the box score and post them. Now, at June 16th, 2009, every time I click "View Box Score", it brings me back to the main menu of PS3. Very annoying, considering I can't do my franchise now.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Every time I try to view a box score from June 16th - on.

Loney hits a ground ball to third which is clearly fair, the announcer says that it's a foul ball and the play stops. Goes back to Loney at the plate with a 0-0 count...

How often can the bug be reproduced?

I've never seen it before.

Players using early steals over and over again. It can always be recreated. Baserunners don't get tired for whatever reason. And they should be picked off 99% of the time when they start early and you throw over. But the 1B always comes off the bag or does a weird animation.

The glitch can be reproduced at anytime.

Batters pop up bunts to the pitcher and the pitcher goes into a weird animation with their back turned not allowing them to catch an easy pop up.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

I saw it twice today and lost both times because of it.

Preset lineups in Online Leagues get scrambled by player positions after every Monday roster update release.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Mostly every Monday, but today it didn't seem to do it. Maybe it's been addressed.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
Left handed pitcher vs. left handed batter. Royals (home team) is up to bat. Pitcher throws a pitch that is on the inside part of the strike zone. I check swing, but the ball makes contact with the bat anyway, pretty much like a bunt. The ball rolls down the first base line, but the infielders stand around like nothing is happening. I hold up at first, but since noone is fielding the ball, the game does not continue. I run around and pick up the in park home run, which should have been an easy out at first.


How often can the bug be reproduced?
Im not sure. This is the first time it has happened to me. I imagine it is difficult to reproduce.

The game freezes on November 19th, during offseason transaction process. There appears to be no workaround. The game will freeze every time it gets to this date. I have tried several different save points and it continues to happen on the same date no matter who wins the world series or what date it ends or what is happening on the November 19th date. Sometimes the 19th is in between the last day to re-sign players and the 40 man cut-off. Other times it happens right after the cut-off, but always on the 19th.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Every time.

Playing in franchise mode as the Detroit Tigers against the Chicago White Sox...

It is a 0-0 game going into the 9th inning, and Rick Porcello is throwing a 2 hit shutout for me (Detroit). His pitch count is only at 72, so I keep him in for the distance. He throws a scoreless 9th. Pitch count is now at 83. I ponder taking him out, but I figured, hey, 83 pitches, I'll let him go another. He throws a 5 pitch 10th inning, and is now at 88. It is still a 0-0 game going into the 11th. I leave him in for one more. In the 11th, Thome rocks a 3-run HR off of him. I take him out, lose the game, blah blah...the point is...

I notice his ERA just took a HUGE hit. I go to the box score...

Rick Porcello's final line after an 11-inning gem:

0.0 IP, 3 ER, 4 HA, 1BB, 9 K's

ZERO Innings pitched?!

It looks like the game doesn't recognize that you pitched if your SP goes over 9 innings. I understand this doesn't happen often these days, but I just figured since his pitch count was so low, I'd leave him in. It's a bummer though, because I dropped his ERA quite low with that shutout through 9 IP's. The problem is the game added the 3-run shot to ZERO innings pitched.

Anyone else see anything similar?

It's not really a glitch. You weren't charged 3 runs for zero innings pitched. I had something similar happen to me and realized that after the ninth inning the counter goes back to 0 for the tenth, 1 for the 11th and so on. You still get credit for the innings (just look at you player stats in the franchise menu). The box score just doesn't post double digit innings for some reason. So in a sense there is a glitch but you do not suffer from it.

When performing a double switch, the player in the pitcher's position starts out on the mound for one pitch before all the animation for players switched takes place. In an attempt to alleviate this, I pressed the bullpen menu button (R2 I think) and it freezes there. The only remedy is to reset the system.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

The double switch glitch happens every time. Unsure on the frequency of the freeze glitch, as I don't want to have to restart a game again.

I believe somebody posted this on around the first couple pages. Says it happens in road spring training games (manage mode in season/chise).

I'm sure this has been addressed already, but whenever I try and save my Gameplay Settings in my Franchise they never save correctly. Like, the file says it saved and everything is fine but when I restart my PS3 and continue to play my franchise all the default settings are back. I've tried deleting the settings file altogether and creating an entirely new file, but no luck. No matter what the default options always seem to reset.

Any ideas how to fix this?
