What game mode did the bug happen in?

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
When trying to view the "League Roundup" in the year 2017, the game freezes and the system has to be completely rebooted. Yes I can recreate it...by clicking the "League Roundup" button...heheh.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
100% of the time

I know I'm not the only one with the problem, because there is another thread on the forums where a user has an identical, even down to the year, issue.

Man I just lost a game because of a stupid glitch/bug where my pitcher won't catch a fly ball bunt by the CPU. I moved my pitcher right under the fly ball circle and waited, only for the pitcher to sit and watch the fly ball bunt drop right in front of him. This happened to me 3 times in one game where I was the Tigers playing against the Twins.

What game mode did the bug happen in? Season

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Not sure. It did happened 3 times in one game causing me to lose the game.

How often can the bug be reproduced? Not sure but it did happen 3 times in the same game.

The pitching control indicators stay on even though I've turned them off in game options. They appear for every new batter. However, after the first pitch, they will turn off during the rest of the at bat if the ball hits the mit only. Once the ball hits the dirt or the bat though, they come back on for the next pitch. This didn't happen in MLB 08. Hopefully this is simple enough to fix via a patch. Yes, this can be recreated as it's ongoing.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
All the time, every at bat for both teams.

When you load a saved game the pitcher's confidence bar resets to what it was at the start of the game.

Created a closer and was drafted by the Blue Jays. Did very well in Spring Training and was sent down to AA. Started the year as a middle reliever and then became closer. Was upping my attributes quite a bit, played in the all-star game and got the save thus giving me a TON of training points, and my team had a double-digit lead in the standings meaning that I'd be in the playoffs. I went and saved the game before the playoffs started.

I went to play the first game and the loading screen showed me that I was coming in to the top of the 9th with a 2-run lead, a man on first, and one out. The progress bar's blue color then disappeared but the music kept playing. Three songs played in full (Including the full version of Freebird that I had in my jukebox). I then went and quit through the PS button not too upset since I had saved the game. In the main PS menu, I looked at the game save data and it had a timestamp of a month ago when I last played the game. I loaded up the game and went to load the file, and the system reset. I tried again, and it reset. Once more, and it reset. Finally, it didn't reset but now the file itself was completely gone. Fully missing. The RttS save file was gone.

Played a full season, dominated the league, boosted my attributes up a lot, made the playoffs, saved the game, tried to play the playoffs.

Don't know I can recreate this as now I'm too angry to even try to play through another season, and too nervous to lose another chunk of my life on a game that may not even work.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Don't know. Too unbelievably frustrated and angry to try.

Yeah I have seen this one too and it sucks, also the relievers that are warming up in the bullpen go back to being cold even if they were fully warmed up when you saved the game.

Something I did to get the real Brewers coaches... it seems that some are wrong no matter what roster I used. So I went into SportsConnect, signed in, and then left without signing out. Coaches were accurate (even had Ken Macha's record as a manager). I believe that this works with all rosters as coaches are not editable (unless they made changes in Franchise).

That seems to do the trick. Thank you.

I don't know if this has been mentioned but through the few posts I've seen in here I haven't seen it but if it has been mentioned then I'm sorry for posting something already mentioned but this is very frustrating..

It doesn't happen all the time, But sometimes when the opposing pitcher comes up, He'll square to bunt and my 3rd baseman will hunch down and the pitcher will just not pitch and it'll stay like that so I have to use the Ps button and quit the game. There was also this one time it asked me to bring my 3rd baseman in for a drag bunt so I bring him forward and he just kept running all the way to the backstop and kept running into it and would not move so again I had to quit the game..

How often can the bug be reproduced?
I've played through a full Triple A season and one month of being in The Show and it's happened roughly 5 or 6 times.

I decided just to see what the CPU control would do with my Cubs. For some reason the CPU decides to send A-Ram down to the minors even if I manually put him up to the majors. This got me wondering..Do all CPU teams have this problem? If so this seems like a big problem to me.

Franchise mode, after the June 4th draft the players who were already drafted are still available to be scouted along with the players who did not enter the draft pool.

The already drafted players should be removed from the list.

did a search and didn't see a fix or response to this

try to sign a new coach and get a different one or try to fire a certain coach

every offseason

i know russel said he didnt know how to recreate it and i didn't see a response so when you get to the offseason try and hire a number of coaches and you will see they come with another coached attached.

as far as not being able to fire coaches one coach i remember not being able to fire was llyod mcclendon and i made him my pitching coach mistakenly

I sim though some of the offseason then they are gone and I get Crawford and Lackey goes to the angels again...



Then the Rays get Holliday.. am I doing something wrong am I missing something? anyhelp? is there a glitch when you use the original rosters for franchise?

Thats really strange. Do you have cpu handles rosters and trades?

If you do, the cpu may have traded them.. if not thats just odd.

When the chant/yells play during a game and you have two created players with the same last name, it plays the same yells/chants for both players. However, if you have a player already in the game(Chipper Jones) and a created player with Jones then it will play the created Jones' cheer/chant correctly, as well as Chipper Jones' correctly.

It happens when you have two created players with the same last name. If you switch one of there last names though, it works as it should. So, it only happens when the created players have the same last name.

Any time you create two players with the same last name. It uses the cheers/chants for the first player created. If you switch one of there last names though, it works as it should. So, it only happens when the created players have the same last name. Even if you switch the batting order where the 2nd created player bats before the 1st created player, then it will still play the chants/yells for the 1st created player when the 2nd created player is batting.
