That is incorrect. It's a fielders choice regardless of whether there was an out recorded.

What game mode did the bug happen in?
        Franchise

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
Player was injured. Announcers said something about "we told you he was going to try and play through his hamstring injury". Player did not have a prior injury, and after the game the player had suffered a torn rotator cuff.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
        Only saw it once.

Crash to XMB. I hit my 200th career home run in RTTS mode. After the game was over, when I went to exit, the screen went black, and the PS3 went to the XMB.

Just to add one thing to my post. (#45) There is a simple way to get rid of this bug. Just "deactivate" the R2 button from throwing home. As I said, it's an undocumented button press plus there already is a button to use to throw home & that's the "X" button.

Hmmm. Interesting. I see what you're saying. It seems like it's up to the official scorer to determine this one. Hypathetically, if your 1st basemen had made a diving stop with no chance to get the guy at first and went to second only to have the runner safe then THAT should be scored a hit. But in this instance I see where it should have been scored a FC.

                Bug Description:
Drafted Free Agents do not show up on your roster after the draft is finished.

What game mode did the bug happen in?
                On-line Leagues

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it?
                1. Start an On-line League with Fantasy Draft
                2. Attend the Fantasy Draft
                3. Draft any player that is a Free Agent on the current roster.
                4. Complete the Draft and check your lineup

                Expected Result:
All my players should be there.

                Actual Result:
Players that were Free Agents are not there.

NOTE: I'm not 100% sure if this only occurs with Fantasy Draft leagues, I assume you'd have this issue with normal leagues as well. It also might not be a bug, but just a missing feature?

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it?

                2. Set difficulty level to something other than Vet
                3. Complete the league setup, draft if you have to.
                4. Check difficulty level

                Expected Result:
Should be set to what the comish set.

                Actual Result:
                Difficulty is back to Vet.

                Can you recreate it?
I have not tried, only our league, and what someone else said in regards to their two leagues.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
I assume every time, but can't say.

I'm leading by 4 runs going into the bottom of the 9th. I leave my setup man out there and warm my closer up just in case. The set-up man gives up 2 singles. I do a mound visit, bring the closer in who promptly goes 1-2-3, yet isnt credited with a save.

                  Every time the situation arises.

                  Per MLB:

                  10.19 Saves For Relief Pitchers
A save is a statistic credited to a relief pitcher, as set forth in this Rule 10.19.
The official scorer shall credit a pitcher with a save when such pitcher meets all four of the following conditions:
                  (a) He is the finishing pitcher in a game won by his team;
                  (b) He is not the winning pitcher;
                  (c) He is credited with at least a third of an inning pitched; and
                  (d) He satisfies one of the following conditions:
                  (1) He enters the game with a lead of no more than three runs and pitches for at least one inning;
                  (2) He enters the game, regardless of the count, with the potential tying run either on base, or at bat or on deck (that is, the potential tying run is either already on base or is one of the first two batters he faces); or
                  (3) He pitches for at least three innings.
I think the problem is that SCEA is not factoring in men on base.

I cant fire my manager or any coaches. I hit fire, they disappear, I exit to the FA coaches screen and try to sign another coach but it says so-and-so is still my manager (jeremiah ellison if it makes any difference). So I sim another season and go to my coaches screen only to find him wearing an Oakland Athletics ball-cap (I'm the Blue Jays) and on top of it all, I still cant fire him without him reappearing in my coaches screen. Maybe that is why my younger players arent progressing, they're playing without a freaking manager.

My third base runner continues to get picked off (he continues to attempt to steal home or get caught in a big lead by the CPU pitcher).
As far as I know, there is no remedy to this, and I have not done pressed the steal button. Making the runner have the smallest lead as possible is also of no use, as he will still attempt to steal home plate and get picked off every time.

Completely ruins the game for me unless i have AUTO on baserunning, which I prefer not to since its less fun not controlling your runners.

This happens to me every game and in every single situation that I have a third base runner on base. However, it only happens when my baserunning is on ASSIST mode.

I hope you guys can address this bug with a patch. I had the same problem in MLB 08. Thanks for your consideration and efforts.

CPU pitching coach comes out twice in the same inning, and cpu pitcher stays in the game. Under MLB rules if a coach comes out a second time in the same inning, he must replace the pitcher on the mound.

D1 was not true (your team was ahead by 4, and the rule is no more than 3), and more than likely neither was 2 (two runners were on from the setter, and [from what I'm reading] none of the batters the closer faced got on base so he didn't actually encounter the possible tying batter. Had one of them gotten on, then maybe that would carry some weight.

                            MAJOR BUG!!!

After exiting franchise mode game, game freezes in the loading screen before it returns to the franchise mode menu screens.

Makes game unplayable. You finish a great game, just to have it lost in a maddening freeze. I had hoped the last patch would have fixed this, but it did not.

What game mode did the bug happen in?

It didn't happen in a game mode, but it occured while editing rosters with CPU Roster Control on the main menu.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

I moved a Marlins pitcher named F. Cressend to the Padres while switching up rosters to accomodate certain players, however, the game duplicated F. Cressend and he was both on the Marlins and Padres, causing the Marlins to have 76 players instead of 75. In this instance you cannot exit the CPU Roster Control because it prompts you to fix the rosters. The only way around it is to have the CPU auto fix so it's not a big deal on that part, only the duplicate player. The CPU auto fix removed F. Cressend from the Marlins.

I moved F. Cressend back to the Marlins and it duplicated the player again, this time both on the Marlins.

I understand that the Expos has #10 retired. However Ronnie Belliard of the Nationals wears #10. In the game, it has him wearing #12, but another players wears that number and made him wear another number.

I tried to use one of the tricks that a fellow poster taught me, but it doesn't work since the game already had set to #12.
