Couple of things I have heard, one really funny and the other one where the announcers were obviously referring to OS!

First one (funny) where a batter is hit and Matt says "OUCH BA" in this really funny tone of voice. I lol every time he says it.

Second one I heard last night for the first time and I've played probably 50 games. The announcers are talking about something and one of them says "that belongs in the little things thread". I thought, did he just say what I thought he said? Very cool.

there are 2 comments i'm really sick of hearing

1. with any pitch in the dirt there is always a comment about how they got away with one there the baserunners need to be moving on pitches like that. Alright the ball got away from the catcher for about half a second.

2. Anytime I swing and miss with Prince Fielder i always get "A big hack there by Fielder just like his daddy"

THAT one is the one that gets me more than any other line in the game!

Yep me too, I always turn off announcers and go with natural game sounds now. These guys are so grating on the experience.
I know i am in the minority but I liked Jon Miller and Joe Morgan, just wish they had more variety. I am so used to their voices on ESPN that its great.
Although I could have killed someone for making the Manny Being Manny comment happen EVERY GAME I PLAYED with the red sox that year

That weird voice is Matt doing Sammy Davis Jr. (Matt Pack?...okay, sorry).

This one really annoys me and has happened numerous times in my Red Sox franchise.

David Ortiz will come up to the plate and be introduced by Dave as:

"last season's AL MVP runner-up"

Ummm, I'm not sure when Ortiz finished 2nd, but I know it wasn't 2008 OR 2007 OR even 2006!! Yet they are still saying this!! I believe he was 2nd in 2005 to Arod.

I pretty much hate all the announcing in the game. I do, however, like it when you let one go down the middle and Soup says "oh have a rip at that" I like to say that in my soup voice and then beef one. No one knows what the hell I'm talking about and then I just blame the dog as always. damn dog.

I play with commentary off because of rex. His voice and lines take away from the authentic experience of the game. In no way does it feel like a real MLB game is going on with his repetitive annoying lines.

I wish the MLB the show developers would get harold reynolds to do commentary in future games. It would be great to have gary thorne and harold reynolds together but the other baseball game is using gary thorne.

grr... Hudler should be killed off the booth team it isnt even debatable...

Also no matter what if im winning, in the 9th I always hear "if they can pull this off theyll move up to 500. on the year" this is really really annoying, my teams currently 39-19 but I ALWAYS ALWAYS hear this when im winning in the 9th

LOL, dont know about Harold for the whole game, but definitely a pre-game, something similar to Jeanie Zelasko role for 2k. That would be awesome.

I've accidentally sent my player running home once (pressed L2 without knowing it and couldn't cancel the steal assignment), so I had to swing and protect my runner. I fouled it off, but then Rex went on like a 30 second rant about me swinging during a squeeze play. It was so ****ing annoying I turned the commentary off after that. Vasgersian isn't worth hearing if I have to hear Hudler with him.
