I really think that The Show could use better commentary as well as increased presentation, such as a partnership with ESPN or MLB tv. I really do love The Show, but something needs to change regarding commentary.
Yeah don't get me wrong, I would not trade in the Show for any other game. It's almost perfect but the announcing is something I don't think is very good at all.

Gives them something to work on for next year I guess.

          Dave Campbell:

I am really surprised by their inability to score, this is normally a potent offense!

Heard this one again today from Rex and wanted to rifle the controller through the TV......

"You gotta hack or they'll send you back. There's 2 strikes!!!"

Watching the Phillies/Braves right now, I had a thought...(You knew you smelled something burning, right!?)

Why not Joe Morgan/Jon Miller for next year? These two are awesome together. And, eliminate Rex. Not necessary if he just adds dumb little quips here and there...

Joe Morgan is like Paula Abdul on American Idol. Neither of them ever seem to form sentences of intellectual coherence, only Joe just keeps going on and on and on.

He was very annoying in the 2K games after 2K5 because we got the same lines over and over again, though that was of course 2K's fault. I just don't think he's worth it, though.

But I'm not a Joe Morgan *****. In other words, I would rather Jon Miller and Joe Morgan be the personalities for Sunday Night Baseball for the next few years simply for nostalgic purposes. Just like Madden and Michaels for MNF (too bad they don't do that anymore). John Madden is a card, but he is the voice of MNF.

i hate when a team is losing by like 1 run in the 7th and Campbell says "they better hope they can bounce back for game 2 of this series". its like wow there down by 1 with three innings left, the game isnt over yet! it would only make sense if they were down by like 5 runs

I have never heard the game. I run it through my computer monitor so I have no sound during play. No big loss as I always turned them down and had something else going anyways.

Someone said earlier in this thread about the 2k game and their new broadcast team and how it sounds so much better and flows etc, etc. Well its true if you only play for an hour or two. But if you play that game like you play the show. That team in 2k will become as repetitive as what we have in the show.
One other thing. Noooooooo Joe Morgan. No offense. But I couldn't listen to him on ESPN during the games live. If I heard one more story of the Big Red Machine I'd be making paper dolls.

I fouled it off, but then Rex went on like a 30 second rant about me swinging during a squeeze play. It was so ****ing annoying I turned the commentary off after that. Vasgersian isn't worth hearing if I have to hear Hudler with him.

Vasgersian is definitely the man and love his work, but I gotta agree with this. I decided to turn it off and haven't looked back.
