Wow...you thought my post was ban worthy??? WTF??? Christ, dude, loosen your bra straps. I thought I raised some good points and was perfectly reasonable. No doubt, in terms of gameplay, this is the best game of baseball around (don't confuse me with the idiots who STILL think MVP 2005 is the greatest thing ever). But to have it ship with three vital components essentially broken, how can you not expect a backlash?

Go look at Knight's full minors roster thread. The guy is having to jump through hoops just to make his rosters work that should not even be a thought. You've got the lineup glitch which destroys any sense of sim gameplay, you've got the historical stat glitch, which may not fundamentally alter anything, but for a sim game, sold to sim people, they're going to notice. Then you've got the RttS crash & burn, the online disconnect glitch, the free agent league draft glitch, and the autosim last 5 rounds league draft glitch. At what point do you feel speaking out is appropriate?

Now, I LOVE The Show, and I've bought it day one since 06. I've hosted leagues the past two years, and I made a contribution to this years custom sounds project on this very board (http://www.operationsports.com/forum...rouped-3s.html). Don't lump me in with the rest of the losers who cry because they can't connect to a game or that their opponents never throw strikes. Just because I'm not sucking on the Sony teet, and feel that they owe it to all of us to make this game playable as it was marketed to us, doesn't mean I deserve to be thrown under the bus. But yeah, if having an opinion equals a ban here...then go ahead.

You do have some good points, I would guess it was the ship is sinking comment that drew the heat.

I guess...my point was just that to me, it's unacceptable. League play is vital to me and my friends, and for it to be this broken feels like a sham. In no way, shape or form do I think 2K9 is a better game (or even a game...for that matter), but after being let down by Madden and NHL 09 (to an extent), I really didn't expect it from The Show.

To me (and this is my opinon, so put your torches down people), it makes day one purchases hard to justify anymore. It may not make sense to some of you, but this is what happens when you grow up and get married. You have to make shrewd decisions on how and where to spend your money. I appreciate all the assumptions and personal attacks though. You guys really set a good example for the rest of the OS community.

I used the earlier workaround, edited the minor leaguers myself, and don't have the lineup glitch nor the historical statistical glitch.

You need to lighten up. Your first post could have been written more tactfully. You see we've been here a long time and appreciate all the work done by SCEA and what they do with the community. Words mean things and you're a bit melodramatic.

It is the way you say it like it is fact. It is fact to you, but to others it is your opinion. Some things are legit and but some things are way off. Some times I feel like I am playing a different game then some. I have not seen all this problems
