Re: MLB 09 The Show Patch Announcement From the MLB Development Team
nah...because someone would get hit and would complain because something about their defense was buggy and would want it patched or they're playing anymore.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I just don't want to start my franchise and then the patch comes out and we need to restart. I'm just damn frustrated b/c I can't wait to get into my Marlins franchiseComment

Re: MLB 09 The Show Patch Announcement From the MLB Development Team
At least I am playing games that "matter" (for win/losses, playing against other guys other than the aces on a staff, seeing if my batting avg., ERA is working out with my level and sliders, etc.).
If you haven't settled on some of the aforementioned, it is highly recommended to play a test franchise. Exhibition games are easier in my opinion even though you often times will face the ace. The CPU seems to bring more of its A game in franchise/season mode in my opinion.
But, I feel your pain, brotha, I really can't wait to start my real franchise. I still need to wait for Knight's rosters with stock SCEA players attributes (no fix for lineups) (and hopefully pitches) or the one Knight does where he rates players himself.Comment

Re: MLB 09 The Show Patch Announcement From the MLB Development Team
Here's what I'm doing right now to pass the time with this game. I have started a franchise, getting my hitting, pitching and fielding down pat, and tweaking my sliders. That way I will be all set when the patch comes along. I play with CPU roster control ON, but I have not been making all the minor transactions daily yet (I will do that with my real franchise). I will then restart anyway.
