I have a small issue that I did not have before the patch. i can no longer see the previous at bat in the batter analysis. I realize this seems small but it helps me to not pitch a hitter a certain way all game.
Am I the only one who no longer sees this?

I am not connected to the internet and am debating whether to get this patch at a friends before I start my franchise. If this is indeed true though it's a biggie for me.

I constantly use that to see how I previously pitched to a batter cuz you have to mix it up to be successful in this game.

Yeah it's a great game but the patch has been frustrating. I deleted the patch and am not having problems.

I was going to try to find some workarounds for the franchise / rtts freeze tonight but I just got home and I'm not sure I want to be bothered right now - kinda just want to play.

I must say that while the patch is somewhat disappointing, it isn't nearly as disappointing as some of the reaction to it I have been reading. This is a game a very good game but still a game. Yes, we all paid our hard earned 60 bucks. But even with some of these problems, this game is still a great entertainment value for the dollar. The devs I believe put their blood, and sweat into this game. And I am betting when they released this patch they did so honestly thinking the problems were solved. But sometimes things don't always work out that way. But there is no reason to keep holding their feet to the fire. This game is not perfect. . . but tell me what is???

For everyone wondering if they will need to restart RTTS I'm 99% you will have to unless RUSSELL comes back saying they have yet another patch to release.

I was in August (first year in the bigs) in my RTTS waiting for the patch. DL'd it last night, made my way past August today into September and BAM, XMB screen here I come.

Thanks guys for the quick responses...I have not DL'd the patch...yet. Although something tells me that there will not be another patch. They released one that causes more problems than it fixes, and by this point, they are probably just working on MLB 10 for next year...

As I guy who has worked in the software industry for over 10 years, I would suggest that the chances are fairly good that SCEA has a sustaining team (with developers and QA people) that work on fixing bugs and providing patches.

There is another group of developers that is probably already working on MLB 10 as we speak. The fixes that they put into a patch are then merged into the main line code for the next release.

At least that is how it has played out at the companies that I have worked at. So I'm holding out hope that another patch may be forthcoming....
