No, and with almost 1,000 posts, much of it bickering, there isn't an easy place to go to find out what it didn't fix. Perhaps the Doc can post a new thread with what it did/didn't fix and a few work arounds (how to delete the patch), etc. Trying to look through this thing is a nightmare. Somebody post something, then lock it so people can look there instead of through all this.

I'm going to stop short of calling you a real tool because we don't insult people here.
But, I will say that you should go somewhere else.
Perhaps you could attempt to finish school and learn to use the written word in a less 'ignorant' way
Now, I don't want to imply that your post is totally useless. It does serve one purpose.
It highlights the fact that our society has really hit rock bottom and that we need more people to mentor the likes of you.
I feel sorry for the moderators here because you represent the new breed of poster, message board trash.
Here's what you deserve from this community and from the guys at SCEA: a big bowl of dog crap.
There is no business in the world that would deal with you, not one. Were you to talk to any big company's customer service department the way you spew here, they would quickly tell you where to go.
I have a sneaky suspicion that SCEA will not collapse as a business if they don't get your 60 dollars next year.
Similarly, I suspect that advertisers won't stop advertising on this great site if you left.
Now, kindly knuckle drag yourself out of here and don't come back. We will try to go on without you.
LOL, so how do you REALLY feel. I share your frustration.Comment

Re: MLB 09: The Show Patch Released 4/27/09 - Impressions and Discussion Here
The first time I went on sportsconnect after the patch, it listed the fixes. The lineup glitch was on that list if I remember right, but it was clear that the CPU would make strange switches if say someone was subbed out.
What puzzled me is this is the first time I've seen a lineup switched from what I had set in the CPU roster control when the CPU didn't give any "regulars" a day off. Had a regular like Theroit been given the day off, I'd understand the strange switches. After more than eight years on here, I finally figured out how to edit my time zone!Comment

This one has not only run it's course, but veered off into a ravine and exploded. Time to lock it up, IMO. I'm sure Russell can open a new one when he has an update for us.Comment

The lineup issue wasn't really fixed, as when it resets the lineups due to stamina, etc it will do so based on whatever you have the ratings at (likely why Soriano was swapped). Really, the best course of action is to apply Knight's lineup edits AND use Doc's Roster Control Workaround, IMO.Comment

Re: MLB 09: The Show Patch Released 4/27/09 - Impressions and Discussion Here
I restarted my season when the patch came out and had not experienced any real problems (I play with CPU control on), but I just noticed something.
Playing a game against the Cubs, they put Bradley in the leadoff spot and had Soriano in cleanup WITHOUT SUBBING IN ANY PLAYERS DIFFERENT FROM THE ORIGINAL LINEUP I HAD SET.
When I saw Bradley leading off, I figured "OK, this happened because someone was given a day off and the CPU logic kicked in." Nope. The comp just decided to switch around the lineup regardless, something I thought this patch fixed.Comment

You just turn on your PS3 with the game disc in or put the game disc in and select it and follow the instructions that automatically come up.Comment

Re: MLB 09: The Show Patch Released 4/27/09 - Impressions and Discussion Here
Just played Tigers vs. Indians on HOF. won 6-1 on a 3 hitter but used the Bull Pen in the 7th, 8th and 9th ining as my starter had close to 100 pitches after 6. No replays to be found. The replay vault stopped working after the Relievers came in so no highlites.
I've deleted everything 3 times now so I'm done doing that now. I'll just live with it.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

Re: MLB 09: The Show Patch Released 4/27/09 - Impressions and Discussion Here
Yeah, Roster Control "ON" was listed as fixed on SC. Russell clarified after a bunch of us screamed bloody murder (and DrUrses tested and found it only "stuck" for simmed games and not in-game) that it was fixed for simulation only and a workaround was needed for the rest.

Fortunately I do have a franchise with Knight's lineups and ratings tweaking and a postpatch franchise with Knight's stock set. So, I've been going back and forth comparing the two.
One nice thing about the prepatch franchise is that the Cubs' home games got corrected somehow. I'm just gonna play up that positive! After more than eight years on here, I finally figured out how to edit my time zone!Comment

Re: MLB 09: The Show Patch Released 4/27/09 - Impressions and Discussion Here
Its silly, I've tried everything. Only time I get highlites is when I don't use the bullpen. Russell spoke in the word of the Jedi in some other thread that we would see replays in due time. Don't know if that means its safe to start a franchise or not though.
