It may have already been posted but, uniform sleeve length. Not all players wear the unis the same way. Baggy, loose, tight, short and tight.

Two more things:

1. Catchers' Masks

There are currently two styles of mask in the game: new and old. However, there are multiple "new" styles. The ones in the game seem to be from a couple years ago, still employed by some catchers. They look like these from Johnny Estrada two years ago.



However, since then, most of the catchers have been wearing the newer new style, modeled here by Mike Rivera.



Here is another style, used by Brian Schneider and not many others:




My suggestion is having all types, like "Old, New 1, New 2, and New 3" or something along those lines. New 2 does not use logos, only team colors. The color pattern can vary; some teams use primary then secondary, but some use primary with white or even a third color. One Mets catcher has blue with black waves.

2. Catchers' Gear and Beanies Color

One thing I do not like about 09 is that these are not "dynamic" with the jerseys your team wears. The Brewers wear royal blue everything with old-school logos when they wear the retros. Yet, the catchers' gear is still navy. Manny Ramirez still has his Dodger Blue beanie despite my having him on the Pittsburgh Pirates. When Milwaukee wears the Negro League alternates, all gear (including batting helmets) is black. When Pittsburgh wears the old Crawfords uniforms, everything is either white, grey, or blue, but not black like at the present.

SCEA, I think you should take a look at EA's NHL 09 for an example of equipment diversity. They employed equipment into the games very effectively. They have a plethora of licensed gear from about 8+ manufacturers from skates, head gear, sticks, and gloves, all the way to goalie gear. Nike, Reebok, Mission, Warrior, CCM, etc. If NHL players wear it in reality, it's in the game. If equipment options related to Baseball were implemented in a similar manner In The Show 10 it'd do wonders for the overall presentation of the game.

Have the Ability to make the elbow or 3/4 sleeves look neat cut [like pre cut, from a company}, or jagged cut {so it loooks like a normal long sleeve t shirt or long sleeve undder armor shirt that the player cut to 3/4 or elbow sleeves themselves with scissors}

I would find a picture example of it cut off by scissors, but I can't find any. I used to think Chris Carpenter bought his undershirts alread at 3/4 or elbow sleeves, but I was at the game the other day and the sleeves looked liek they were cut with scissors, and had jagged ends.

Thank you for that example Andrewdon. Like i said, some player are jagged and cut by scissors, and others by the pre-cut ones.

All these ideas are great but please SCEA have a better starting base , as a editor I know thats tough as players change alot .
But mainly So your 1derful weekly online rosters equipment wise isnt so out of date each update , just too many base equipment items to edit each weekly release .
Maybe whoever edits and adds players can check their gear also ? Yeah its a big task takes me 36 hours each time

I would LOVE to see SCEA go all out on throwback baseball.

I would love to see more throwback uniforms.. baggy jerseys, baggy pants, ear-flap-less batting helmets, different "high" pants styles (at the knee, below the knee, mid shin)

I would also love to see classic rosters shipped in the game. I'm assuming SCEA would have rights to do this (althought I'm not positive) but do something like Madden old-gen games did where they had a bunch of classic teams and the players would just be named something like 3B#5 or LF#16 and we would have the ability to go through and edit names, career stats, accessories, etc.

Finally I would love to see the addition of classic stadiums.. Candlestick Park, Ebbetts Field, Forbes Field, Polo Grounds, Griffith Stadium, etc.

i would like to see
1. Compression elbow sleeves underneath shirt sleeves
2. Different bat colors/two-toned bats/tape styles
3. Customizable glove colors/webbing styles & colors <!-- / message --> <!-- sig -->

I know this is way off topic but does any body know who makes the white and sometimes black compression sleeve dustin pedroia wears?
Definatly put that in the game though cause everyone is wearing them
