because i dont have time to read this this whole thread to see what everyone else has already put here are my 2 cents
1.Licensed gear, namely nike (duh), rawlings (duh), louisville (super duh), under armour, etc
2. glove options i.e. webbing, lacing, more colors basically what mvp had. (did love 05 but doesnt compare to the show, sorry fan boys!!!!).
3. more bat options, two toned, pine tar options, tape.
4. hair options, cant tell you how annoying it is to see guys with long hair like manny or travis buck and not be able to do the same.
5. tats, not stupid tribal bands or barb wire, only binfords( applause to anyone who knows exactly what a binford is. if not respond to this post maybe i will give you clue.) have weak ink like that.
wont kill me if any of this never happens. sure would be cool though!!Comment

players hats tilted to the side flat bills.... baggier jerseys also looser sleeves like Posada wears

More retro jerseys. No restrictions on jersey numbers including retired numbers.
All black retro cleats, fielding gloves from the 50's and 60's plus 6 finger fielding gloves.
I like others would also like to see outfielders and infielders gloves.
Please add (retro) baggy jerseys and pants to go with your stirrups.

Don't have the weather dictate everyone wearing longsleeves it's annoying having everyone having to wear longsleeves. I had to wait till July in my chise for night games not to have sleeves, it's not 47 degrees in June at night in LAComment

I'd definitely like to see more bat types. Half-and-half, colored bands, other colors. Take a look at this site:

The bats in game could be customizable, allowing the user to choose the barrel color, handle color, band color, etc.
Some examples:
Regarding the name brands of shoe manufacturers, I would actually prefer the cleats without brand names. The generic cleats look great, and as long as the teams have the correct colors... it's not like basketball when each star player has his own signature shoe, or the different shoes have different colorways. All cleats look the same, but some of them have swooshes on the side. Not worth the trouble, in my opinion.Comment

Who paid for it last year? In MLB 08' The Show you could get all the numbers except 42 with the work-around.Is MLB 2K9 exempt from paying for numbers?
This is such a beautiful game on every level. This number thing ain't no big thing, but it would be cool if we could get all the numbers right...

have manager fleeces trainers jackets etc. on the managers and coaches.
And also just a side note. it would be cool if we could create a manager or a coach not like a game mode but like create one and be able to edit him and have ratings and what he wears etc. and edit current ones
