Question for franchise players.
I am looking for a Right handed or switch hitting backup infielder, any reccomendations? I play as the Cubs. I also need some middle relief, Mine suck! I hate leaving my Starters in late but lately I have to. I am only 2 weeks or so into the season and don't want to burn out Marmol who is the only one pitching halfway decent. Any help would be great!Playstation Network:That70s_Gamer

Re: Question for franchise players.
You could try to make some sort of deal with the mets
Luis and Wagner....for some reason Wagner is really good for me in the 7th/8th handing it off to gregg or Marmol
You could try the dbacks, maybe Tony pena or John rauch and felipe lopez/augie -
Re: Question for franchise players.
You should be able to get a backup anything in your farm system. Or is it that you only want know people? As for relief, I strongly suggest grabbing a starter or two from your farm system that is doing well. He will have stamina and might even be good enough for spot starts, thus giving your starters even more rest.Comment

Re: Question for franchise players.
Call up the Braves, they have two you could pick from.
Martin Prado
Omar Infante
I'd try and get Infante as he can play six different positions. Prado can play 1st, 2nd, and 3rd but can't play SS or the outfield like Omar can.Comment

This. I love having Infante on the Braves. Just about any position that needs rest, he can play it. Also, you don't much offensively, I always hit pretty well with him.Comment

Re: Question for franchise players.
Thanks for all the info, I am going to pull off a trade sooner or later. The biggest problem on the Cubs is giving Aramis Ramirez a breather. I haven't tried Miles or Fontenot at third yet, Fontenot is playing really well so far, comes through with the clutch rbi alot. Miles and Theriot are playing poorly. The only other infielder is Hoffpauir and he can only play first. Gonna see what the Braves want for those 2.Playstation Network:That70s_Gamer
