Believe it or not, I love pitching with Doug Davis. His cutter mixed with his huge curve are instant K for me. In my franchise with the Dbacks I have thrown 3 consecutive complete game shutouts with Davis.

I play a season with the Royals...and this is gonna sound silly, but I dominate with Kyle Davies. I think I press too hard with Meche and Greinke sometimes. But with Davies, I understand his limitations and use what stuff he does have to pitch solidly.

i like pitching with Davies too. i can also snag him really late in fantasy drafts, and his windup is easy to work with. solid pitches too.

Man I was just about to say, even though I love pitching with Greinke, Davies is my best pitcher right now in the win/loss column and ERA, he throw some simple stuff that works.

I like pitching with Chris Carpenter as a starter. Quick delivery, good fastball, great curve. For relievers, I like to use Jason Motte and Chris Perez, and just blow 98 mph fastballs by the batter.

Kevin Gregg and Carlos Marmol. Both have been automatic for me out of the pen, and that is important considering they usually pitch when the game is close. I flat-out love Marmol's assortment of pitches - they are just nasty.

Rich Harden. Although I am 0-2 with him he strikes out a TON of batters. Through three stars and just 21 innings he has struck out 25 batters.

I have had the opposite affect with Kevin Gregg. He's terrible. I'm about ready to make a switch at the closer role. One more blown save ought to do it.
