I would like to see interchangeable first and last names like Clem for example. This would open things up a bit to be able to use Clem as a first name or last name.

I know that many first names were missing this year like Denny or Dick but Denny and a last name that sounded like Dick was offered on the last name list.

Would like to be able to brake-down or put two last names together to make one name.


Clement is close Lombardo is close if we could add A E I O U we could get Clement-A if we could drop the O on Lombardo and ADD the E sound we would get Lombard-E or Lombardi...

Also if SCEA could add todays players first and last names to their name database for us to use that would be good...

Some of these names are common others aren't. For those names that aren't common please offer a different spelling or sound a-like name.

NOTE.
Some of the names that were on the 09' list were not announced by the PA Announcer.
Names like Duke, Billy, Goose and others...

MLB 09' "The Show" offered an audio walk-up window designed for walk-up music.
I used this window for PA anounced player introductions and I was able to bring intro's from other games.

Guys like Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio,Dom DiMaggio, Johnny Pesky and many names that wern't offered in 09' "The Show" were anounced in my Music Window. It was great to do this.

The only drawback was this window was only offered for the Home team.

Please open the window to include both Home and Away introductions.

A few years ago scooter asked SCEA if they would let their most fanatic fans who post here on OS send our names in to be announced in the game.

2 more name ideas:

1) I used the music walk-up window offered and put in audio/ PA introductions from many sources ( other games intros, and DiMaggio that was offered in 08' The Show)...
The thing is this window is offered for home teams only!
So I hope SCEA will oper this walk-up window for both home and away games in 2010...

2) Question? Do you know someone with a Legendary Baseball Name? If so encourage them to post their name here...
