Yeah, the guy types in all-caps. And he is "hardcore."

    i wish I could type in all-caps

but I am not worthy. i am not "hardcore." i play on lowly All-Star.

    poor pitiful me ...

I should add that the fact that Rookie is not even listed in the poll is slightly unnerving. I'm one step away from being from being completely worthless. I give 25+ years of my life to gaming and I'm teetering on anonymity. What a waste.
BTW Yeah I know I can't spell. My spelling apparently hasn't caught up to my vocabulary.

I played over 100 games or more on All Star but decided to move up to HOF because hitting was getting a tad too easy. I'm having a lot of fun on HOF but need to figure out how to quit giving up gopher balls. Seems like the CPU power goes thru the roof on HOF.

HOF level is just right for me. All Star too easy, Legend is too ridiculous.

I tried bumping up on All Star but, I just suck bad and I got like 9 Ks against Clayton Kershaw! Vet is where I am.

Here is how its ordered according to SCEA:
            Rookie- Very Easy
            Veteran- Easy (Medium to me)
All-Star- Average (Kinda hard for me)
Hall of Fame- Hard (Really hard for me)
Legend- Very Hard (Unspeakably hard for me :wink
Fans of: Braves, Falcons, Lakers, Angels, USC Trojans
(call me a bandwagon if you want to :D)

              still playing on Legend.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I'm still experimenting though, but the returns have been nice.

                Stay tuned.

                I recant.

                Forget HOF.

All-Star is maybe too easy, but it's the only one that is remotely realistic and fun.

I play on Legend because it punishes me. My Indians are basically playing right along side the real-life Indians in my franchise. Same record in the month of April and May is looking about the same for me too. I might have +/- 1 or 2 losses by the end of May compared to the real world Indians.

I am at an interesting crossroads on All-Star. I can get double digit hits each game, but I am only scoring a handful of runs. I am not getting any blowouts, and the CPU is getting theirs as well (albeit mostly on the long ball).
It might be time to move up the ladder a notch and see what happens. I've got a 1.5 lead in the NL East (go Phils!) right before the break, so I could stand to take a few lumps at the moment if need be

I tried Legend for as long as I could stand it, but it just hurt too much. I'm glad it exists, but I shouldn't be screaming f-bombs at the top of my lungs and generally feeling like Mr. Furious when I'm trying to relax and do a bit of gaming. So HOF for me, which only registers a .33 on the FBPG scale (F-Bombs per game) as opposed to Legend which maintined a strong 2.0 across the board.

I just made the jump up to HOF from All-Star (defaults, I'm not a slider guy). I didn't think I could enjoy this game more, but HOF feels much more realistic to me. It's actually hard to get good hitters out, which it should be. You really have to think about how you are pitching to these guys. Hitting became a tad harder in a good way. It seems like where your PCI is in relation to the pitch actually matters. It felt like I got way too many cheap hits on AS. Maybe someday I'll punish myself with a few games on Legend, but right now HOF is working great for me.
