Re: Same Weather!!
I played in Oakland and there was sunny skies one day and overcast the next. -
Re: Same Weather!!
Are you sure it's always sunny. It won't rain or anything. When it's overcast it's just a lil darker than a sunny day, and actually easier to pick up the ball. Have you noticed that the clouds move? Do you ever get clouds? If not, you may have the Truman Show 09. Sometimes I really crack myself up. Hee hee. Not sure, but is there an option at the beginning of Franch that lets you choose weather? I don't think so, but IDK what else to say. Most my day games are sunny, but I do get some overcast as well. I'm playing season, 2 months in.Comment

Re: Same Weather!!
When you play an exhibition game, it lets you choose from overcast, partly cloudy, and clear for day games.
My assumption is that the game chooses from the three for your day games. I wonder if there's a formula involved where different locales (e.g. Seattle) have more cloudy days... I'm about 100 games into my Milwaukee franchise and a vast majority of the day games that I've played have been sunny - home and away. I have seen both of the others, though.
I'd like to see rainouts and delays next year. It'd be another level of strategy if your game got delayed in the 3rd and the length of the delay affected your pitcher's ability to come back and pitch as it got longer. I'd like to get a doubleheader once in awhile, too. It would be cool if I was going along and all of a sudden, Matt's like "Looks like they're going to have to close the roof here at Miller Park". Then they could have a cut scene showing the roof closed. And maybe it could even snow in Minneapolis for opening day at the new stadium!
Man, the greatness of this game is making me greedy.Comment
