What pitcher do you just own?

I remember a thread about hitters that people hated pitching against because they'd get crushed by them. So as I was playing my career, I was wondering the vice versa of this effect. So I'm wondering which pitcher do you just crush? This can be RTTS or Franchise either one it doesn't matter. It's just a curiousity thing to see which pitchers get beat up.

For myself, I just own Brett Myers. Over a full year and in the first month of my 2nd year in the bigs on my RTTS, I've cranked 6 homers off the guy. It never fails he'll throw me a fastball low and in or high and in and I'll just blast it out of the park. I remember one game he did it back to back so I cracked two out and ended up blasting 3 out. The 3rd homer was off of Octavio Dotel that was barely a squeaker over the wall. D:

I can rake against Cole Hamels in my franchise as it seems like I get at least 5-6 runs a game off him. However anybody that has a sinker kills me so it's a catch-22.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

In my RTTS, i was in my 2nd year pro with my brewers RF and rightfully nicknamed myself the "cub killer." I absolutely own zambrano, ted lilly, and reliever sean marshall. Throughout the whole season my batter performance was off the charts against the cubs

Paul Maholm for the Pirates. Put up 7 runs in an inning and a third against him in our last meeting. I don't think he's ever pitched past the 4th inning against me.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Johnny Cueto. Lasted 2.1 and 3.1 in two starts against me as the Braves this season.

CC Sabathia. When I had my O's franchise, I beat him 3 times, and he gave up at least 6 runs every time. My RTTS guy isn't as good against him, but I've still gotten my share of hits off him.

I absolutely crush Boston pitching, in particular Dice K. I absolutely own him. The problem is they crush my pitching (Jays) too. The games are usually slugfests with me coming out on the losing end. I hit so many homeruns at Fenway it's rediculous. In the 6 games I have played their this year, I have 16 HR's, but as a team I only have 106 HR in 154 games.

I recall playing against Webb once and dominating him.

Sinker ballers seem like they should be easy to defeat. Most of them have pitches that all must be located low so its easy to guess location. Of course, if you are like Halladay and have a fastball (2) to go up high with to compliment the sinker...

jake peavy. last game i scored 8 runs and 9 hits in like 1.1 innings against him. in my franchise his record is 10-5 and i think like three of the loses are against me

Yep. When I see that the pitcher I'm facing has only a sinker as his fastball, I lick my chops. I play with Knight's rosters, so it is a little more common. The best is when you're down by a run or two and they bring in a reliever whose only fastball is a sinker. Let the hit parade begin...

Here's a pitcher than owns me - Edinson Volquez of the Reds.

7 starts against me. I managed to tag him for one loss when I scored 2 unearned runs to win 3-2. He's got an ERA of 2.00 against me.

I've managed to win 3 of 7 of these games, with the other 2 wins coming off their relievers. Last night I put 4 earned runs up on him, losing 9-4, and it felt like a minor victory - except that it ended a 7 game winning streak I was trying to get to 10 for the profile points. All these games, and I still haven't managed to get a 10 game winning streak.

                              Hardest is Wakefield!
