Injuries will help shift active rosters around and get young prospects into the majors and at times they'll stay there. Then in the off-season, teams will re-shuffle their parent club rosters to include some of the dynamic young prospects.

I was bummed a little when I realized they didn't do this, but I'd rather focus my attention on what is in the game instead of whats not in the game. For things not in the game, I put them into the Wishlists or feedback forums and I hope they are implemented next year and I go back to playing.

Great comment CB. You should be able to find fun in this game, regardless of things that may be "missing". Why, because there's so much else in it. If not, not much sense in even playing it. This game has come a long way from the first installment, me thinks.

Yeah, good points guys. The thing that sucks about roster control though is that you can't have injuries and CPU trades on.

Oh I agree. That seems to be an "unfair" tradeoff in my opinion. I could live without the cpu trades, but not the zero injuries. Injuries are too much a part of the sport for me to eliminate them. Personally, I don't think that the user should be given full control of the rosters at the expense of something else. Not sure why its done that way, but its been that way, I believe, ever since they introduced it.

What I recommend is setting the rosters how you want them prior to starting up your franchise. Then saving them and using them for your franchise, and let the cpu take over from there. The cpu does a pretty darn good job of managing its rosters.

You just got your Christmas gift cancelled.

Where's my huntin' gun when I need it.

CB, I'd have a hard time playing the game with fantasy injuries. If they could do both, good, but taking out full roster control...............I'll kill my dog, and I love that dog.

                Don't shoot!

I worded that poorly. I don't mean for them to take out full roster control. I think there should be an option to have full roster control on and still have injuries, thats all.

Individual pitches should have swing and miss as a stat in addition to the current stats. Either that or have certain pitches labeled as strikeout pitches which are much more likely to produce swings and misses. For instance, Lincecum has an absolutely filthy change/splitter but in game it does not work the same way.

Well, to be perfect for me, I need a 36M salary to play it. A few baseball groupies would be good too.
