    Re: Age doing me in?

I wonder if it might be that the size of the screen is the problem. On a 26", it might make it harder to read the pitch early, especially if you're not sitting quite close to the TV? That said, I've never played the game on TVs of a different size, so it's just a guess on my part.

That's hilarious, in real life, and in the game, you can't get around on the heater as well when you start gettin' up there in age.

im not telling you to go out and buy a bigger tv, but that maybe part of the problem. though i cant speak for everyone, but i personally do have problems seeing the ball on smaller displays. it might be because im spoiled and used to bigger screens. the tv in my office i play the show on is a 37' samsung lcd. i use my bigger one for watching movies.

54 here. I often beat my 21 year old son and his friends. And believe me they don't let me win. The Show and NHL are the only games I really need!!

Hey..I was able to get in some games this weekend, won one of four games...WOW! I actually had 16 hits in the game I won, scored three in the top of the ninth to win, and lost a pair of extra-inning games. My pitching continues to be okay, but still strike out way too much. I'll keep plugging away when I can...thanks for some feedback from others in the forum.
