why do mods continue to let these threads continue to clutter the boards? almost everyone in here has done this. do we all really need to create a new thread? almost as annoying as the "when does the demo come out " threads.

Seriously though, it happens every year and there are 30 threads asking the same questions and cluttering up the board, this thread should be stickied every year starting in January!!!

I won't lie, the main reason I switched to PS3 was The Show. And I wouldn't change it for the world.

This board becomes very difficult to come to around this time ... anything to help reduce the clutter.

Something must be seriously wrong with me...Im a 40 yr old man who just got in my car and drove down to EB games and bought the new PS3 just for this freakin game!!

I was just that fed up with 2K baseball that I couldnt take it anymore

Oh well...Im loading the game now....let's see if it was worth it....

I did the same thing. But I was only 38! haha (Oh crap, 39 this thurs!) Probably one of the best moves I've made though. Not just for The Show, but the other games as well.

Not necessarily, craigslist and ebay are both flooded with 360's for sale. Especially if it's an older model like mine with the 20gb HDD. I tried to sell mine on CL. The most you can realisticly expect is about $140ish for the system alone(I got about $130 from gamestop). I got a lot of calls from people saying they're serous buyers but no real buyers. I've seen Elites on CL for right around $200 sometimes less.
If you really want to sell it you can't charge more than similar systems. The supply is just too high.
I'm not sure if gamestop still has the trade in deal. I got an extra $30 for the system and an extra $75 for trading in 7 games+10% from my edge card. I got about $280 for my system and games. Way more than if I sold on CL.

OMG, I might buy a PS3...

Sometime. lol. This game looks sooooooooo good. The graphics of this game are so unreal. I thought that 360 and PS3 were maxed out with their graphics, and boy was I wrong. Watching some videos in HD of The Show, it looks like they put in real people playing the game on a videogame field. The way all of the menus and everything are set up, this just looks like a fun game. I've bought some baseball games but found them to be boring after a little while. This game just looks like it would be fun all the time.
