Sup guys loving this game just got it last month,. ANyways im 20 games into my season and just curious if there is ever homeruns hit off the foul poles? I havent seen it happen yet

Yes. It happens. Not often...probably about the same amount it happens in real life.

It also makes a nice "Dung" sound when it hits it.

Yeah, i've seen quite a few actually. Through the break Chipper has 19 home runs and I'd say 3-4 of them have been foul pole home runs. I've had 2 other players hit one. It seems normal to me.

I have done this a few times... the last time was just now... it was a walk-off homerun in the 13th by my rookie LF Saunders with the Mariners.... I just kept watching the replay.

ive hit a few off the pole, always when im using the right stick. im assuming they would have been foul balls but the influence put them down the line.

I've played a lot of games and I have seen a fair amount of hits off the foul pole. Its strange to call it a foul pole when its in fair territory. I have never understood the logic in this.

It's happened to me several times. Also once, my brother hit a home run against me where the camera was positioned as if it was a ball going foul into the seats, but then it passed the foul pole fair. I was relieved it was foul until it turned out it wasn't
