Anyone else find themselves chasing every pitch if they haven't played in awhile?

After not playing for a while my biggest problem is timing the pitches again. I swear after not playing for a couple weeks the fastball seems to come in alot faster then I remember it.

the way I play is totally reflective on my mood.
if I am uptight due to work or my kids not getting to bed I can not play at all.
If I can relax and control my breathing I play great.
To do this I just take my fingers off the x button. take pitches and only swing at fastballs once ahead in the count.

trying to relax is just hard to do.

That is why I thought Chase Utleys at bat in the 9th two days ago vs Colorado was just remarkable.

Coors field is loud as hell and he was a total pro

takes ball one, ball two, strike one.

takes a great cut on 2-1 v a fastball and just missed.

          Takes ball 3,
          takes ball 4

looked like he was just chillin.

          great stuff.

It took me about a week, but I think I got it back.

But yeah fastballs seem faster and the off speed stuff seems slower LOL.

I am a free swinger, Don't strike out alot but usually I hit the first pitch and before you know it the inning is over and the opposing pitcher threw like 5-6 pitches, I hate it when Rex brings up the fact that my team is swinging too much.

I find myself swinging at everything if I have not played in a while, I turn the slider for pitch speed all the way up, I find I do better that way, other wise I'm in front of everything, when I'm patient though I can really crush the ball, today I had 3-0 count with classic A-Rod and hit a home run, I too hate it when Rex talks of how I swing at the first pitch, anyway the best baseball game ever love playing it
