Sometimes I swing at a perfect pitch & instead I check-swing by accident. I don't know if it's me, but it doesn't happen to me in the previous ones.

Baserunning in general. It was way too easy to steal bases in previous years, so they made it too hard. I had trouble stealing any bases, unless I had a baserunner with 99 speed.

No issues over here...


I have 35 SB w/ Johnny Damon, about 100 games deep into the first year of my franchise.


If you take the right lead off the base (be smart about it), you'll be fine.

definitely fielding. the meter from MVP Baseball gave the user much more control and that is an aspect which is lacking with the fielding currently in The Show.

Happens to me as well.

I lost a game cuz of that once. Bases loaded then strikeout on a "check-swing". Good thing it was an exhibition game.

One thing I really hate is when a line drive is smoked into the out field and the player I'm controlling has no chance to field the ball. No animation is kicks in and the ball either goes right by or right through my player. It doesn't happen too often, but I see it enough to really annoy me.

I agree with most. Throwing/fielding. Throwing meter that works, outfielders charging and throwing, not hesitating.

Definitely throwing. All throws this year appear to be random. Would love to see the right stick somehow tied into throwing accuracy and strength. If we can't have that, though, at least make the meter have more impact on the throw.

For me it was check swing appeals. They always seemed to favour the CPU. The umps made some of the worst calls on check swings I've ever seen! This was actually better in 08.

Left fielder constantly throwing ball up first base line on play at plate.

Passed balls should not be tied to fielder error slider.

Better charging and quicker releases on throws from all outfielders.
