I'm sure this his already been suggested but I would like to see the CPU take more hacks at balls outside the zone. If that's not going to change then at least put in some animations that make the batters look interested at pitches. For example when I paint the low outside corner with a slider that just misses it looks unrealistic for them to stand there frozen. I can see that if a batter were completely fooled, but it happens all the time. I realize there are check swing animations but don't see it enough.

I want to see the batter leaning, bent over and frozen as if he's praying the ump gives him a ball.

0-2 pitch and he just stands there and watches? Ugly.

They need to bring some sliders back from the previous year - like cpu plate discipline and passed balls/wild pitches. Removing options is NEVER a good thing. If that gives people the chance to "break" a game by going overboard with sliders then so be it.

I agree 100% with the walk issue on both the user fronts. I play default all-star and I am first and last in walks in any season I play. It's not and issue of not being patient, I am, but the CPU when pitching is pretty tough to coax walks out of. As a pitcher it is VERY rare when I walk someone I wasn't trying to pitch around.

Default is bad that way. Lower pitch control to 0 for both you and the cpu and then see how it is. Using the sliders can make this a lot better.

when there's a runner on base and there is a wild pitch the runner's slide back to base instead of taken the next base. by the time they get up it's to late to advance to the next base. this drives me crazy!!!

Put me down on the fielding list also. I want it to mean something when I make a substitute, late in a game, to put in a better defensive fielder. Right now it seems that fielding ratings don't make that much of a difference. I want to have to think about making these type of defensive decisions.
