I'm with the trade logic, and if they somehow could figure out a salary system without the exact numbers. At least make it proportionally correct, so that I have to use some logic in trading and signing FA's instead of just being able to buy whomever I want since I have $180 mil to spend.

Progression: We have to be able to edit it.

Progresion: It has to work properly. I believe Knight suggested using a two scale system, such as A overall potential with a B potential in speed reaching it. (Knight I think I butchered that so if you could clarify).

• Transportation
• 60 Day DL (60 day DL players should be taken off the 40 man roster)
• Ability to trade arb/renewal eligible players without a contract
• Better coaching system, including ability to hire/fire during season.

Rotating Interleague schedules every year, please. I hate when I play with the Angels for example and have to play the NL west every season.

sorry this is more than one thing but i only play franchise mode.

the rule 5 draft is cool but after the draft is over all the same players get put into the free agent pool and then go unsigned. with knights rosters it's annoying to see top prospects not kept or signed.

fix the weather and having players auto wear longsleeves. it's not 45 degrees in june.

have the ability to turn on\off cpu control at anytime or when you turn it on still have all the features that were turned off by doing so.

fix the retirement system to many guys retire that wouldn't for age at 34 maybe an option to take players off the list

The bugs annoyed me most are as following:

1) Long relievers got too much apperances and earned the unrealistic W-L recorded. Many great SPs just threw 150 or less innings , recorded like 10-4 in 31 GS... ; some LRPs had 8-9 in 80 innnings.

2) the game-play logic of cpu, especially the logic of defensive and offensive substitution in the late innings..How come would you still dig in Ken Greffey Jr. to face a left closer, rather than pinch Mike Sweeney in? Or never consider to pinch a better CF or SS in the 9th inning of a 3-3 tie game?

Too piggyback on that, I think that the way the CPU uses the bullpen, at least, throughu the sim engine, needs fixed, particulary in regadrs to closers. If you look at the stats, you will see almost every closer having more saves than innings pitched. I looked throught box scores to see what the deal was and there are a lot of instances of th CP being brought in with one or two outs in the ninth.

Nothing would make me happier with this game than if franchise mode got rid of -- or least allowed you to turn off -- all the stupid crap with transportation, hot dog prices and all that stuff. Since when does the GM care about any of that stuff? Am I the owner or the GM? Make up your mind, SCEA.

For as great and deep as the franchise mode is, it really takes away a lot of the fun of managing your team when you're worried about going broke because you need to buy a new airplane.

I agree with that. I basically just want to deal with the roster stuff, but season mode doesn't include the minor leagues.

There needs to be more action on the waiver wire. Teams rarely sign players I release or remove from the 40 man roster. It's too easy to move guys on and off the 40 man roster, because no other teams claim anyone who isn't an A or B potential player.

I'd also like to see them rework free agency. I want to be able to backload contracts, offer signing bonuses, etc.

I loved how MVP did free agency, where teams would get in bidding wars over players and end up overpaying players. There were several instances where a #3 starter would start out asking for 2 mil, and end up making 7-8 mil a year because teams kept outbidding each other. Now it seems like teams give one offer, and that's it. Teams don't compete to sign the top free agents.

The comebacks or clutch or confidence or whatever it is that causes unstoppable offense at times. Great game except for that.

Also on the wish list is allowing '09 franchise to be transported in '10.

Having the announcers mention who won the previous World Series, or Rookie of the Year, or MVP....etc in franchise mode.

Eg: In year 2012 of my Rays franchise I don't need to hear that Evan Longoria was "last year's rookie of the year"...

Also more stat overlays during the game would be really cool. I think the reason franchise mode gets stale as you get into your second and third year is because your always seeing the same stats and hearing the same announcer quips about certain players.

Not sure if this can even be programmed to change as the years progress? What do you think?

I forgot to mention that having career post season stats for all players would be a nice touch in franchise mode too.
