I really hope they actually worked on the fielding and throwing, which to me is the biggest problem with this game. I havent heard anything yet. I just Hope SCEA knows it's something we have been asking for years..

Ugh, that ESPN article did not have anything about improving the load times. It's my biggest gripe with this game. The load times were flat out terrible and I pray they are much faster for 2010.

RTP sounds great. The only cut scene I wish to see would be the one with the tarp being taken off the field and the announcers telling you that youre in a rain delay thats just coming to a close. What say you Russ LOL.

This all sounds good and all and I love MLB The Show as much as the next guy but I didn't see anything in this article about presenatation like in game score ticker, highlights of other games etc like we been asking for. What happened?

I'm starting to wonder if they, the devs are really hearing us MLB gamers. All the request I've seen here that we've been asking for I don't see. These new features they are adding looks like ideas they came up with, not us. Home Run Derby? RTP? ala MLB2K9? They are copying 2K Sports? what a waste of time like their Mascots last year. I thought they took HRD out since no one actually plays it!.

I hope I'm wrong and they are still more features to come. Oh well, I'm still getting it regardless, even though I'm a little dissapointed.

I pray that MLB 10 has alternating interleague schedules in franchise mode...

I agree 100%! Alternating interleague schedules, allstar game should rotate to different stadiums, and there should be a one game playoff implemented. And don't forget about 3 or 4 man rotations in the playoffs for the computer manager!

All of the additions in that article look great, and I'm sure that there are MANY more additions to come. But one thing that I have absolutely hated is the roster control outside of franchise mode. It is nearly impossible to trade players on your own. It only lets you trade 1 for 1 . It was a pain last year when I had to release/delete minor league players in trades like Cliff Lee/Ben Fransisco for 4 prospects. Bottom line is they need to change everything about Roster control. It would be GREAT if they fixed this. Otherwise MLB 10 Will be GOLD

You're right it's too early. I'm being a little negative of what I see so far and I hope I'm very wrong and this game will be the all time great!. But it's been since 2006 that we've been asking for certain features and it's not being included in the game for all those years. What's so hard for them to implement them?

And no, I'm not kidding, I know they the Dev. sure do take some things we suggest and put into the game, of course, it just seems they take a select few suggestions and then go on and add what they want regardless of what we think or care. Remember "Mascots" I got chewed out by Kobe for that one saying it was a waste. He sure did show me who's Boss!!..lol

Hey, it's their game and they can do whatever they want, they know we love it no matter what they add..lol It still a great game!..I love it!

Does that mean that there will no longer be any cut scenes after striking batters out? That we'll be able to watch the strikeout unfold from the pitchers mound??

Aside from me wanting weather, every single one of these ideas is something that people on these boards talked about.

I'm saying it right now, this forum is going to be ridiculous. This is by far the best sports game available, with devs who hands down listen and incorporate community ideas better than ANY OTHER DEV GROUP, and STILL some of you guys rag on them. LLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLL.

I'm a little confused. It says it "defaults" to the presentation we're used to... so are there two presentation options? Or are we getting the older presentation throughout the game, with the real-time stuff mixed in at the end of plays, innings, etc?

Also, daylight transitions... yessss. Now, do we have weather??

I just want to ask this again, since I don't really see any thoughts on it yet.
