Re: MLB 10 Custom Cover Thread
I believe both have been created already. Those along with the entire New York Yankees roster, past and present.
I'm positive there is a Garrett Jones one, not sure which page it's on though.Comment

Re: MLB 10 Custom Cover Thread
Here's an alternate version of the one above, but with just Jeter & Mo in the background without Posada behind the trophy (no offense to Jorge, but he's already featured prominently in the celebration pic below, lol)...

Re: MLB 10 Custom Cover Thread
Guys, do you have any other PS3 games? If so take a ruler and simply measure the front portion of another game's cover. Then print at those exact dimensions, it's not rocket science (although you might need to convert your measurements to whatever units your print settings accept). That's all I did and it looks 100% authentic. I use my photo software to print because it's easy to adjust picture size & print quality with it, but you can probably do this with just about any method you use to print. I use a high quality 8.5" x 11" paper stock (bright & thick but not quite photo paper, but that should work too if you have some large enough) and then just carefully cut it down with a scissor after you print. I would pass along the exact measurements I used but I don't have them handy at the moment.
The only other tips I can offer is that I prefer to center the pic on the page so none of the edges get cut off by the printer, and make sure you print a borderless pic at a high quality setting. Also, even though I use the exact PS3 dimensions, I find that I usually still need to trim the edges very slightly to get it to fit the box correctly, but not too much because you want it to completely cover the actual box art (before you trim use a ruler & pencil to draw a faint straight line on the back of your printed cover as a guide). I'm sure some of these other guys use different methods for doing this, but that's what works for me. Oh yeah and one last thing, if Joe Mauer ever comes over your house to visit, you might want to hide the box from him
. Good luck.
