In order to provide context to the point I was making it required an example, thus I pointed to MVP 05. I don't see any off topic problem.

Yup. I agree. Never really got the hang of the stick controls for hitting and fielding. I hope SCEA sticks to what has worked for them for years.PSN: ckarlic

Even if a new mechanic is introduced, SCEA will always keep the existing options intact. It tends to be a win-win for everyone.“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show - Broken Bats Gameplay
As good as the show has been, lets face it, its become stale over the last several yrs. Other than the graphical additions; the batter/pitching interface feels virtually the same. After thousands of plate appearances it feels stale from the sheer monotony of it.
2K baseball is a mess in its current state, but the stick-controlled pitching and hitting makes The Show's current set up feel dated.
BTW big ups on the slaughterhouse avatar, i'm a big fan of every one of those MCs, minus Royce.Last edited by WSB98; 01-09-2010, 01:18 PM.Comment

I've been playing the show since PS2. The 2K pitching additions was a real nice breath of fresh air last year.Comment

2K pitching is not what it feels like to throw a pitch. Way too complicated. SCEA will not even waste their time developing this idea.Comment

Here's a somewhat recent photo of Target Field:
From this video, it seems pretty good. Wish we would have seen a bit more of the field (especially left field and the scoreboard).Comment

One of the cool things I noticed from this was how people in the outfield were slowly working their way down the isle to get out. It'll be interesting to see if that celebration sign in centerfield is used in the game.Comment

Re: MLB '10: The Show - Broken Bats Gameplay
But cut us some slack...not only have the last few years been insanely painful, but all the excitement of being able to play in a new ballpark via video game was stunted some last year with what was easily the most boring and generic looking park in MLB '09.Last edited by jess5; 01-09-2010, 02:58 PM.Comment
