Hey CB, be thankful it wasn't Matt Kemp vs Carpenter

I noticed the same thing at first and was kind of annoyed by it. But if you notice, it's only in the first 4 videos. If you watch the last video of the Cardinals/Royal's game, there is none, whatsoever. It all transitions very smoothly.

I'm hoping the last video is what we'll be seeing come March. If so, we're in for a real treat. Still, I don't understand why the first 4 videos are like that with the "cutscene" look/white flashes.

That would be a good question to bring up to the producers.

I am thinking some were shown with the "cut scenes" [white flash], and some were shown with RTP [no white flash].

        Just a hunch.

Usually the transitions are done in black. We have not seen the white screen transition since the WSOD plague in 06 for the ps2! Might just be a point in the development process.

The game looks insane. Lighting looks phenomenal.

I'm digging the new check swings too!

Oh yeah, good point. I hunch is the build. And like you said. I doubt it will be there in final.

Couldn't you hold down the guess pitch trigger to see where the pitches and what pitches were thrown?

You could always press R2 to see the pitches regardless if you swung or not.

Seriously? I didn't realize this! DOH!

Just popped the game game in and yes it is the R2 button for pitch location which is great to know now that 10 is almost here. I never used the Guess pitch feature. Never even cracked open the instructions, oh well, thanks for the info

I'm confused about how the Broadcast camera works ???

....If it's a broadcast camera shouldn't the camera view be primarily displayed from behind the pitcher like a TV broadcast and not from the catchers view ??
Not when the batting view option is BEHIND CATCHER.

I wish they could remove the "fade" effect altogether. I don't really think that has any place in a baseball game, and IMO takes away from the RTP aspect of the game.

Who says they can't. IT'S A JANUARY FIRST BUILD OF THE GAME.

We go through this stuff every year. For some reason, the same people think that the previews shown in January are final builds of the game, and the complaining begins.
