You want to really hear something funny... I would be willing to bet a dime to a dollar that this "voice" is the same announcer that was used by SONY in their old PS1 days of their NFL Gameday Football games.

I still fire up the PS for my son, and I will swear the guy that announced the plays, yardage, etc... in those games is the same stadium announcer The Show uses...

I'm sorry if I missed it, but any mention of arguing calls i.e. strikeouts, close plays other than first base??? Thanks ahead of time.

That doesn't have anything to do with the topic at hand. I think a PM would be used better to display your concern with his insight and opinions.

On topic. I wish I could see some of the vids, I'm at work so it gets blocked out. I'll check at home. From the sounds of things this all shaping up to be a great year for da show! And the "fix" to the throwing meter sounds to be much needed!

Guys we are hear to talk about baseball not who is complaining! These cat and dog fights are getting tiresome!

Anyway, I like the new three dimensional team logos at the team select screen. Very sharp!

Yeah, they looked really good. The whole front end looks sleeker it seems.

Also, in the vid when they were selecting game options, did anyone see the pitch delay option for the pitching speed challenged people?

And if I'm not mistaken it's the same PA voice that was used for MLB 98 and MLB 99 on the PS1.

I may have missed it, but has anything been done to classic pitching or is it the same as last year?

I would say the same. It's a classic!

I believe it is the same as last year as far as we know. I asked the question if anything was tweaked like meter pitching, but Russell probably does not have an answer on it yet.

More than likely it wasn't touched, because it seems to work well the way it is far margin of error, and the "unknown" certainty it presents while pitching.
