In its current state HR derby is looking stark. To me it looks like the plan was to get it over to the ps3 this year and next development cycle build and enhance on it.“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

I agree, it is not fun staring at the grass when the purpose of the mode is to admire home runs. I guess we need to see if different camera options are available.“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment

I love the knockout mode.I need all the practice (without a batter) I can get when it comes to pitching....
Question: In the "simulation" mode, on the pitcher's mound, the initials "LMP" are there. Anyone know what those are?Comment

What is really adding to the realism for me, are the packed dugouts and bullpens. It's so nice to the pens that are located down the foul lines, full of relief pitchers, moving around, ect.
As far as homerun derdy, I'm with everyone else, I hope the broadcast cam is an option and that we can watch the ball flight. Maybe Ramone can elaborate.Comment

The HR Derby looked kind of boring and that camera view is terrible.. Please let there be an option to change camera angles, because it's not fun to watch the ground.
Also the fact sheet said "The long awaited Home Run Derby® leads the deep features list in MLB 10 "
I hope this doesnt mean this is their best feature this year, because it didn't seem much of anything to me. Who knows, its an older build, so maybe it will be different in the retail versionComment

Re: MLB '10: The Show Hands-On Impressions @ CES w/ Russell_SCEA *Day 2*
no i meant that when they were playing in the video i wish they wouldn't hit X and skip the cutscene of the other players watching and reactions. i know they were there cause they started to show it but then whoever was playing hit X to skip it. i just wanted to see some of the reactions. By the way nem where on LI are you from?MLB: Yankees

Well I was afraid of this and I was correct. There is one major issue that STILL has not been addressed this year. If it doesn't get resolved soon I'll be very upset.
The release date is still over a month away...Joshua:

The fact that the release date is more than a month away.
HR Derby....now THERE is something that doesn't have any place in baseball.
BLECH!
Nem....on the playoff tiebreaker..... I'm pretty sure Russ did say that there would be a one game playoff...I can't find it though.
