Awesome to hear about the sign in centerfield at Target Field. It seemed as though they did a lot of work with the ballparks. Are any of those videos of you playing at TF?

DMB, what's your overall take on the fielding? Are you seeing any balls go overtop of the OFs heads? You mentioned piece of it in the other thread about throws being a little more online to homeplate but are they actually going to the 3B side rather than the catcher continually having to reach?
Great stuff though, man.PSN: ToxicitiComment

Unfortunately I don't think so. The game we played in full was there tho. Maybe some onlooker took some vid.PSN: ToxicitiComment

Yes, I did and I got so caught up in the game that we played I totally forgot because after I was interested in just getting as much video as I could as there was only like 1 hour left before he had to leave. I am very interested in that too you know! Maybe you could ask him here.PSN: ToxicitiComment

Fielding acts pretty much the same from last year from what I can tell. Animations and ball physics makes it more enjoyable for me tho. We didn't have any plays at the plate today so yesterday was the only time I saw 3 plays at plate and the catcher had to reach for it on 1st base side and then bring over the tag. Haven't seen any balls go overtop of OF's from my recollection.Comment

The button does not matter. However, player's throwing attributes greatly affect the throw. I saw Manny throw from OF to 2B and it wasn't pretty. Kind of just lofted in the air.PSN: ToxicitiComment

So again this year, there is going to be virtually no control with our throws? The meter is pointless again?Comment

You have no idea how happy I am to hear the quick pitching is out. So many people do this online either to keep you from getting leads, putting in a pinch hitter, or just to throw off your rhythm. I was going to suggest they put in balks, but whatever works is music to my ears!Steam: BahnzoComment

Pitching. The meter looks the same but somehow just feels better. It does seem to penalize you worse the more you miss the meter. But the good part about it is when you do hit the meter you are hitting your spot, near or very near where you wanted the ball to end up. When hitting pause you can observe each pitch and it will tell you near or very near or not.
But...I'm going to go with my gut on this and convince myself that The Show team would do this correctly. Can you talk about this a bit more DMB?Steam: BahnzoComment

That's also good news then. It a player doesn't let the pitcher come to his set, then gimme a free base.Steam: BahnzoComment
