Did I see a headfirst slide into 1st by Crawford during that double play in the first vid??!? Amazing! I see new music has finally been added for the game intros(although it was skipped over during play) And were those new bat sounds also?

I must say, from the little I've seen, I LOVE that you can instantly tell whether you went or not on a check swing. If you like the Phillies read the blog I write for The Fightins.Comment

In transitional lighting video #1, Shane Victorino took his hat off during the national anthem. That's good to see, last year players didn't take their hats off in that cutscene.Comment

I'm also still dying to know this. Can someone please elaborate on this with a final yes or no..."When it's all set and done, reality is the best innovation."Comment

Re: *DAY 2* MLB '10: The Show Hands-On Impressions @ CES w/ Russell_SCEA
I'll clarify some things on the pitching meter. Due to complaints B Ma took a look at the pitching meter and the result based on your input heres what he did. He tuned the meter so that its now harder to hit the sweat spot in contrast when you hit the sweet spot your pitches will no go more in the general area that you targeted. Now you also have to take into consideration the pitchers confidence, the confidence of the pitch being used, and the pitchers attributes for that said pitch.
In our game we were both pitching extremely well but we left some runs out there on the field you will still hang pitches and B Ma only tweaked the system the pitching in our game is still not an exact science and it never will be. Its designed that way, even when you are feeling it in a game you will still have those pitches where you do everything right and its still a good pitch to hit. When everyone gets a chance to play the game we think you will like the tweaks and changes that where made to the pitching aspect of the game.Comment

Glad to see it wasn't animated but will be. This means maybe there is hope for the Neon Tomahawk at Turner Field to only be flashing during a rally when the Braves are batting(in another video it was flashing when the Mets were batting. Braves DO NOT use it when the defense makes a great play, or th pitcher gets out of a jam) Again the neon tomahawk only flashes when Braves are batting and have a rally going....so I was glad to see this about the Twins sign not working yet.Comment

A little side note: there were no signs of field tear up in tropicana park, not even after the slide at home. I know it's an early built but I'm saying it because in 09 Dodger stadium didn't have field tear up and in some other CES videos (for example the one in Yankee stadium) it was there in all its glory so I'm just pointing it out so no stadium will miss out this year"When it's all set and done, reality is the best innovation."Comment

Was I the only one that thought the HR Derby mode looked really dull ?
It just seemed really lackluster IMO especially the camera view on HR's and the fact that there's no commentary to go along with the action
Oh well
I'm a season and exhibition guy anyways and I know those games will be awesome to play with all the new features and improvements this yearComment

If not I should just start a season for once
I've also never seen the ivy at wrigley brown...ah I'm missing out just playing exhibition games."When it's all set and done, reality is the best innovation."Comment
