Yeah people are starting to be way to picky about little sh!t. I mean, the one thing that sells this game is gameplay IMO. I could care less if we have flowers or people walking in the stand or (since i'm a Braves Fan) a giant cow or coke bottle. All the "little things" are nice and add a lot to the game but come on. I want great gameplay...but i guess i'm crazy

yeah EA's MVP Baseball never had half of these things in there game (maybe cause it wouldn't fit on a regular DVD last gen) but still the gameplay is what made that game so famous on consoles and on the PC.

I don't read here much anymore as the thread has gotten lost dozens of pages ago, however...

I am overwhelmed by what I've seen added to this years game. If it was just animations alone, I'd be happy. For me, I don't know what else SCEA can offer. We are absolutely spoiled by these guys and should be thankful they try to please us. I'm not a big Rex fan, but I wasn't last year either, or the year before, and the year before, and won't be in 2019 when I pick up my copy but that said, I can't complain with Matt or Dave.....look at how far our baseball gaming has come. We seem to expect absolutely EVERYTHING in this game, and that's insane, my opinion. There is only so much dev time.

What was I disappointed/unimpressed with.....nothing. That ain't arse kissing either, it's just remembering where baseball gaming has come from and what we are offered today.

I like the little things as much as anyone but...WOW!

Sorry...couldn't help laughing at this post...I mean, how couldn't I? From mike asking about urinals to SF saying that he likes the little things?! I'm still giggling about it...

...but yes, I know what you mean. Actually, I seem to remember seeing fans walking into bathrooms in this year's Madden...no urinals though...

Thanks for the reply Knight. I really thought the fatigue had been a major issue for several years. The guys tire too fast. No way can you play someone every single day, every single inning without them getting to the point of exhaustion. Some guys play nearly every game and I would, at least, like a slider to make that possible.

This has been brought up numerous times for several years. The DH issue is just a symptom of it. It's not a game killer and I have my work around for it, but I would like to see it resolved.

The fact that we weren't able to take it home with us.

It's going to sound weird coming from me, but I guess it's the commentary. I'm not saying it's bad - I love all the detailed situational lines, but it is still basically the same structure like some other people mentioned - Matt talks, and one of Dave/Rex chimes in. It's been that way since '06, and I just don't see that changing. There are new lines and situations, sure, but there's no denying that it feels the same. And, Rex has more lines that are guaranteed to drive you nuts (especially one - Jim could probably tell you about that one, I don't know the exact situation that triggers it )

That, and not being able to get the new player models in. But that (along with the commentary) would be a ton of work, and with all that they were able to accomplish in this cycle, it doesn't bother me nearly as much.

Nothing at all? Nothing that you really wanted to see improved/added/reworked/touched up? I know it's a very good game and all, but that is pretty unbelievable.

In Franchise mode if you choose to play a home game in a different stadium, does the attendance, tickets sales etc. still count as a home game?

I love the game as much as anyone, but there is no way I could not think of something I would like improved.

The question was if he was unimpressed or disappointed in anything, imo that's different then asking him if he thinks something can be improved.

It did seem just a tad much. My last finished Red Sox season, Ortiz had played around 157-158 games (only off for a few interleague tilts in NL parks), and the closest after him would be like Youkilis or Pedroia, somewhere in the 110's. Starting pitchers it wasn't an issue really, and not much so for RPs, unless you had to yank the starter early.

Signature style... but we had a nice long discussion on how they may be able to make it so it is better.
