I've seen plenty of times where an outfielder misjudges a dive or a catch etc. They are rare, but they only happen on plays where there is the possibility of a catch.
What I'm referring to are those times when there is no chance of a catch and the AI instead just runs to it's spot 20 feet away from the ball and waits for it to bounce off the wall to them. It's never misplayed, and they don't get caught in a poor position. It's one reason why triples are difficult to come by.
It's not a big issue, but I was reminded by Pared saying how important it was going to be to make sure you played the angles correctly and wishing it might be the same for the AI.
