sorry, it's getting confusing what should be posted in what thread..so this is a repeat from another spot I posted.

any chance of the replay "cursor" having more freedom within the stadium?

ie: being able to watch a replay from the view of your actually seating area in real life

I remember it being mentioned a long time ago on a wish list, just wondering if it was ever picked up on.

ps.. any answer to the number of music slots being greater this year and not having to deal with combining 3 files to 1 to have more flexibility and ease of use?

this concerns me a bit. What about cpu teams that have a guy get injured for the season or a lengthy amount of time(requiring 60-day DL), will they sign someone to replace? If not, then its as if the user has an advantage over the cpu.

Please tell me the cpu will sign guys to replace injured players.

Like I said...Kolbe said the logic is there...but they had to really handicap it in season to prevent a constant shuffling(unless I misunderstood him)....but I looked specifically for this and no players would be signed.
But...with the extra 15 players PLUS the ability to "take over" for the CPU(and then give control back)....you can sign a guy for a team if you think they really need something.
Although I would like to see something changed with this...I don't believe it's really a problem.

Knight, did they add more legends this year i.e. “The Commerce Comet", Maris, Josh Gibson, etc...? thanks

Mo...I didn't really look at the rosters...but one good addition....no more LEGENDS on the FA list ....they are on a separate GOLD and SILVER ERA team....you can edit the teams(and players...but just like current MLB players...accessories/attributes only...not names and such)....but we still cannot edit the FA list directly.

2) Can players get injured during Spring Training?

Also...

Would it be possible this late in the game to open up the possibility of the cpu teams signing FAs during the season? Reason being...reading your earlier comment about this, it seems that the cpu won't take advantage of the ability to sign a player to replace one that is placed on the 60-day DL thus almost giving the user an "advantage" during franchise.

ahh..I didn't realize that was an option. I was under the impression that you had to decide control at the start and then it was "set in stone".

This is a positive as its a workaround should I deem it an issue, but I still would love for the cpu to have the same "abilities" as the user during franchise mode.

Knight (and I apologize if this was answered), I know you guys were teasing someone about this, but can we once again hire/fire staff during the season? If so, are their budgeting concerns with that (i.e having to eat a contract if you fire a guy early)?

Question for any of you was there any talk about difficulty levels? Was anything changed or should we expect them to pretty much stay the same? Also did anything come up about the hits per game. On last years game most of us had to reduce the contact slider to lower the amount of hits we as the user were getting per game and high averages we were seeing.

This in regards to the new throwing meter and if you tap it you end up throwing a cupcake into the cut off/or base. Will it help anything if you are already in the proper position to field/throw the ball?? IE I'm the CF and am attempting to throw out a runner going to 3rd. Will it matter any if I lined my body up so when I make the catch I am going towards 3rd base?? Hope this makes sense.<!-- / message -->

I meant to answer this yesterday...sorry.
No to hiring/firing DURING season this year(I'm going to push for this next year)....and we did find(thanks b_hurst!) a missing screen in the HIRE COACH/MANAGER screen.....that showed where to fire your current manager(you would always get that message that you must fire your current manager/coach before you can hire so and so)...
All you have to do is hit the square button and it brings you to your manager/coaches/farm director and you fire him from there. You can indeed fire your farm director now!
