I don't like Gamestop because the employees are sometimes rude,half the time I have more knowledge than the person working there, you get terrible trade in value for games(which is why I don't trade) and they always ask me like 5 times if I want an "edge card".

They did last year. I was there. Question, why do the majority not like GameStop? I never had a problem with them.

I believe that was for a different game that The Show happened to be coming out at the same time as. They aren't doing one (as of right now) this year...I asked.

I'm not a huge fan of Gamestop (or Bestbuy or any other chain "tech" store...they are all shallow in knowledge and value) but I don't really have major issue with them either. If they have something I want, I'll shop there...for a new game, the price is almost always roughly the same anyway.

I preordered The Show from them this year...wanted to ensure those stadiums as quick as possible, just in case!

haven't in the past.

The only hope is that Battlefield BC2 comes out the same day, so maybe they'll do a Midnight release for BFBC2 and let you pick up the Show as well.

I got it last year at midnight due to another game... (Halo3) having a midnight release.

lol...okay...then Halo wasn't the game I was thinking of (shows you how much Halo I play).

There was a midnight release around then but I don't recall them ever doing one just for The Show. I wish I could remember the game.
Resident Evil? I give up...driving me batty...lol.

I'm not a fan of being harassed by salesman when I come in to a store. "Can I help you find something?" "Is there anything you'd like to preorder?" Not to mention that I always seem to be the only customer there so they just kind of stand behind the counter and stare at you.

It's too small. I prefer the spread out, stay out of my business, not personal at all style of Best Buy or Wal-Mart.

Boom...March 3rd...same as The Show, right? God...it's stupid, but it was driving me nuts. That must be it. So Skyboxer had the right series at least. And I'm no more crazy than usual.

I was deciding between Halo Wars and 2k baseball( no PS3 at the time), unfortunately I picked 2k...DOH!

But actually, buying 2k9 and then seeing what a train wreck it was made me buy a PS3 for the Show...Hmmm, Thanks 2k!!

Yes, and that constant harassment for pre-orders. Like if I don't have my mind made up I'm gonna let YOU convince me some game is worth paying you $ up front,knowing full well it'll probably suck and will be easily available when released. A friend of mine bought Bayonetta last week and the guy asked him for $3 insurance
"in case something happens". What the hell?!?? The greediness is out of hand with these guys.

At my favorite shop here in Denver......should have it the Tuesday to Thursday before release.............I love my shop.

I've had them ask me if I wanted insurance at Best Buy before. Basically if you scratch a disc so it won't read anymore, they'll give you another one.

I've never done that, so I normally pass.
