Or, it's like having a bat super-glued to your hand at one angle, and having to rotate your wrist all the way down and around to have the bat touch the ground, because you couldn't animate the bat, or the fingers, because your animation would be way too large for the PS2 buffer, so you had to wait for the increased memory on the PS3 to solve both of those problems, but you haven't had the time to go back and fix all of the older animations yet because you were adding more game play and presentation animations into the game then you ever had in any previous year as well as redoing many of the older personal animations and adding new ones...and writing incredibly long run-on sentences here on OS at 10:52pm on a Friday night in your office. Or something like that.

Man, everything looks great in the game. Real life like. My only gripe is how the ball comes out of the pitchers hand. It just doesnt look right for some reason.

Amazing how this game can excite you year in and year out. Definitely my favorite franchise on the PS3.

I agree with the pitching delivery comments; those are the only animations that have ever really bugged me. While most of the pitchers were just fine, there were some who had animations that didn't at all correspond with the path/release of the ball. I'm pretty sure Zack Greinke was the worst of the bunch last year. I can't remember exactly how his delivery went, but I remember that his release point was nowhere near where it should have been in the animation, which really threw my timing of his pitches off and made it darn near impossible to hit against him. Please tell me the glaringly messed up deliveries have been fixed this year. I certainly have faith in you guys that they have been.

If not, then at least I should be lucky that I'm in the National League and probably won't face him outside of exhibition. (Unless he gets traded to the National League or if the Royals and the Cubs both make it to the World Series together. If the latter happens, the world would probably end, though, so I still wouldn't have to worry about facing Greinke.) :P

I believe, don't quote me here, they are in right center field.

I am just amazed how the field looks. I mean the Field looks truly b-e-a- utiful. And the player model even look more life like then before. Wow, this just made the wait till march 2nd, that much longer

While everyone is drooling all over this visually, lol! Did everyone notice in the first vid the throw from the shortstop was weak because his body motion was taking him away from the play? We did see some of this last year but this year it is going to play a heavier role as strength is more closely tied to the player's arm ratings. No back to your regularly scheduled drooling!

Yep, picked this one up Nem - combined with the speed of the baserunner it's going to sort out the guns from the pop guns...awwww, is it only Feb 6th for goodness sake!

NOW YOU KNOW WHY I PUT '09 AWAY. I just couldn't go back, and that's a pretty good game.

Again...it looks amazing. I'm sure it's something that we'll get used to, but the only issue (and I"m not complaining in the least) is that the transition between the ball being hit/broadcast view is awfully quick.

I know Russell gave a reason why that's so...but for the guys who played at the CD...is it something that takes awhile to get used to or is it just really noticeable because we're seeing it for the first time?
