haha yeah good point. they do not have to come consecutively. my bad.

but still, a ton of foul balls, depending on the final outcome. seems ridiculous.

I rarely have long at bats as a hitter (because I almost always swing) but as a pitcher to the CPU, I've thrown a 16 pitch at bat. I was fuming after that

one thing I love about this game is that the more pitches you see in an at-bat, the more confident you feel, and your success rate is higher (just like real life)

last night I had a long battle as Victor Martinez, and after fouling off a few full-count pitches, I thought 'he better not throw me a 5th straight fastball', which he did, and I golfed it out of the park to right-center field of PNC Park. it was a great feeling. and it also got me excited that the homerun sequence will be more drawn out with this years RTP. hooray!

I think 13. Last pitch I got jammed and was out on a broken bat pop-up.

I had a 16 pitch at-bat once. It ended with a double... probably one of the most satisfying at-bats I've had with this game.

16 pitches as my RTTS shortstop in the minors with the game on the line. The sad part is it ended with a GIDP and I lost the game.

About 12. The CPU's Nomar Garciaparra. I was the Tribe's Carmona. Nomar was a tough out--------anything close, he fouled off.....until I finally got him to ground out on pitch #12.

(Carmona must've been tired; the next batter hit a two run HR on the first pitch....)

13 or 14 here a number of times, I usually stop counting after 10 or so as I figured I've done my job.

22 is amazing. At least 16 of those have to be fouled if you assume the 22nd pitch was the one that ended the at bat. 3 balls and 2 strikes would leave you with needing to foul 16 pitches during the at bat. At the very least you would need to foul the ball 4 times in a row, 4 times during the at bat. I think this is a pretty remarkable feet and I'd like to examine it a little because I think it's cool.

15 I believe, though I've had many at-bats that went past 10.

Longest pitch I had was 60 feet, 6 inches.
